This video is inspired by the Top Gun maverick movie, where the SA-3s are all on the sides of the mountains and a Tomahawk strike clears the way for the aircraft to get in there and bomb their targets (in this case Sa-34s) and then exit the idea, this time instead of su-57s there are su-27, so there are some small/minor differences.

On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8. - Hry

Thank you guys for watching and if you have any ideas for future videos please put them in the comment section below and they might just end up in the pipeline, Let me know if you guys like this kind of cinematic style video and if that's the case I might be able to make some more in the future. Thanks again for watching and much Love.
hey dude ... any chance you'll consider the naming convention idea I've mentioned a few times ..?
Standardizing how you title videos... BVR or WVR ... your jet first as opposed to random ... etc?
If you haven't read my sugg I can write them here again, LMK.
Air to ground on the Sinai map with the F-16 Sufa
honestly really enjoyed this. geat cinematic. would be cool if you rp with voice coms. its just slightly hard to follow whats going on sometimes. i will deffinetly watch more. so many senarios and themes to see in this style
Yes. More please. Do this with Super Hornets
Yeah, I'm liken this style of vid for a change.;)
It still never ceases to blow my mind how much ordinance these things can carry - just an insane load of bombs and there's still more than enough space for drop tanks and two pairs of AMRAAMs.
The Americans panicking after the Foxbat reared its head really did make one of the most impressive things to ever take flight!
Then theres the A-10!!!
Actually they were SU-35 Flankers
@@dennisgraham2447 they are talking about the history of the F-15, and those were Su-27s in the video btw
@dennisgraham2447 The ones on the taxi way were Su-34 "Fullback". The Russian equivalent to the F-15E.
@@DDayJaykethere were both su27 and su34
Movie like cinematics. I watch your videos every single day without missing a single one and they're SOMEHOW getting better everyday. Much love and thanks for making the days brighter!
Agree👍💯
That makes two of us!!! GS vids are all about that business! 😎🤙🏾
gs is the only gaming youtuber i watch these days
As much as I love hearing you talk out your thought process during various missions, this more epic, scenic style of video was AWESOME!
Couldn’t agree more! Love the regular vids but this change of pace was very cool!!
Continue to raise the bar in your creative endeavors. Thanks for the S-tier content once again!
Thanks for watching brother. Much love.
"How much ordnance can it carry?"
F-15: YES
Watching, hearing, and feeling two of these take off at full afterburner every 2-3 hours in Bagram for a year puts it into a different perspective.
Who knew mass destruction could look so beautiful? Absolutely stunning cinematic masterpiece! This was so relaxing to watch.
🤣
Phew, you guys will never believe what happened. I was at base and out of no where, all our Su-34s started exploding. Me and my squadron escaped the carnage and our hangar survived, as well as the prototype Su-37 model we kept there, but at that point the enemy aircraft were long gone, so we saw no point in pursuing. Now we have to relocate.
Dude, honestly, this one deserves an emmy! Cinematography is on point!!!!
Had me looking for popcorn.
This is actually a perfect demonstration of how air surpiriority is the most important tool in winning a war.
A departure from your norm, but I Love the cinematic quality of this video. Well done!!
BTW, the absolute destruction delivered by Five (5) F-15 Strike Eagles backed by Naval Tomahawks is hard to imagine.
It's actually really plausible with how advanced data link. The airforce and the navy do excersises now where they lase and find targets for each other
10 out of 10.
This video was like a small movie and not one word spoken, the music-soundtrack perfectly fitted the increase in tension throughout the video.
Well done man.
It took me significantly too long to realise this was a cinematic and not a really long intro to a normal dogfighting video
I thought the same thing your not alone
Dude, you have become my favorite CZcams Content Creator. You clearly put in a lot of effort to make these videos. Keep up the great work. Hope to maybe fly with you one day. Much love from Alberta!
Thank you brother, I appreciate the support. very grateful for subs like yourself around here, Much love.
That sound bite from Behind Enemy Lines 🫡 9:14
I love the cinematics! It really gives a sense of the firepower each side has, as well as giving the viewer an understanding of what the mission goal is, all without you having to say a word!
Top Gun: GS
This legitemately might be the coolest video you've ever done. I am certain it took some work, so know that it paid off and was appreciated. Thank you!
THAT was a fun watch. More of this please. Maybe with a little intro giving back story or a "mission brief" and an "aftermath" or BDA?
There is only so much you can do with one or two pilots. I think this was a great way of showing off a larger conflict simulation.
Yes! More F-15E please. She is such a pretty bird.
Edit:so i might have made the original comment before i watched the whole video. But WOW that was incredible! The cinematography was exceptional!!! One of my favorite videos from GS!
This is rad. Better than hollywood. Visual narrative is powerful and compelling. It's all the best things about a jet fighter action film, without the fluff.
This video is a masterpiece of editing! Must have been really time consuming to make, but it was certainly worth it. With human interaction and a storyline this could be a blockbuster. A good one to be exact. I don't regret subscribing 4? months ago, and probably never will. You showed me how modern aerial combat actually works.
"Enter the high-stakes, high-stress world of elite combat pilot this fall on 'GROWLING SIDEWINDER,' Thursdays at 9:00 PM on ABC!"
Because this is a show I wouldn't just watch - I'd season pass that thing and keep it on the DVR. Bravo sir. Bravo.
These airstrike missions are awesome keep ‘em coming
I got a pretty bad score on midterms math exam today, but watching these videos does put a smile on my face. Reminds me that there are more to live for.
When you see Eagles screaming over your base you know you are screwed.
Thank you so much for the cinematic experience. And the content you make is absolutely stunning, and it always makes my day. Cheers ❤
DO MORE OF THESE CINEMATICS! Standing ovation. Bravo bro.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. This channel is the best on CZcams, hands down, no competition.
Its nice to see the Strike Eagle getting some love in the videos. Greetings from a DCS WSO
Love the nod to Behind Enemy Lines
Loved this! Awesome work!
Watching the new Growling Sidewinder video is a part of the day I look forward to greatly, and has been for several years now. Thank you so much for all the work you do to make that happen!
👏👏👏
Finally caught a new post just as it comes out, as always fantastic thanks
Fantastic! This was a nice change up. Love your normal stuff, it helped me be good dog fighter and all around pilot.
But the music and cinematic, just lets you enjoy like a mini series. Please keep them coming.
That was fun GS! Nice change of pace
@GrowlingSidewinder, this was a masterclass in video making!! Well done!
Man, that was awesome! Great cinematography.
This was a KILLER format to watch mate. Well done
This might be the best video yet! Great cinematics!
Thrilling. Like watching a movie.
Damn, I love USAF POV videos.
Love it. Keep it up! ;)
I sensed a bit of Sidewinder in this episode. Fine job!
Great Job GS! Really impressive this time
Great job showcasing the true multi role ability of the Strike Eagle, plus the effectiveness of combined arms warfare using the tomahawk strike to soften the target first. Truly American all the way around.
That was awesome! Smooth as jewel.
SA-3 was my working place for many years. I'm so exited to see this video...
love these cinematic videos...MOAR!
The missions are so good! Well done GS
Great mission and great job making this!
Outstanding. One of your best to date. The US really does have the best in defensive and offensive weaponry.
This video was a thing of beauty!!! I need more videos like this
Beautiful cinematography and perfect pairing of music. You continue to impress us. Cheers!
Dude, awesome, awesome video. I personally would love to see more videos like this on the channel. Great job, keep up the great content.
That was some sick cinematics!
this style of video took me by surprise but damn it was awesome! Great job!
That was epic! Kudos.
LOVE THIS ISH G-SIDE! Gimme more PLEASE!
Love this format.
Reminds me of watching strike video of desert storm right after the planes landed ... good work
Very atmospheric! I really enjoyed this. The power of an unchallenged USN SAG is terrifying. & I always love to see Eagles putting in work.
This was masterfully done
I work with militar ground radars and omg this scene has the most radars i ever saw ever lol! And the most advanced! Those missiles could never had a chance
Absolutely awesome!!! As another commenter said, this is professional grade work.
I kind of like the theatrical starts- Nice man.
Never had a chance!! Total Domination!!!!!
GS it’s like you read my mind… I was just thinking “I’d love to see some new strike eagle content” and boom. Every time
Bravo sir! Absolutely exquisite! Story telling at the max! Well done! Loved it to death!!
I can't imagine how much work something like this is going to take
Nice !
It’s always a good day when gs uploads ☺️
You're getting really good at these cinematic videos!
Cinematics on point bro 👌🏼
Holy freaking wow!! This was an awesome freaking video!!!!! I'm watching again!
I love the cinematics on this and do enjoy the vids like this, but I do love the GS commentary/explanations
Excellent storytelling without a word said!
Outstanding cinematics, dude
I wouldn't even mind if you made a 2 hour movie of this
that was cool, would watch all the cinematic dcs videos as you put out
That was so cool! Love the movie like presentation!
Armed to the tooth and nail, damn love the look of that it’s so absolutely intimidating.
Love the scary intro tune 😮
Excellent upload too, interesting
nice different style and story telling.....well done
Wow…That literally brought a tear to my eye 🥲…Witnessing the flawless execution of a well thought out plan is such a BEAUTIFUL thing isn’t it??
Love watching your videos during my lunch!
Oh man your teasing me with the Su-34 hell duck. Been asking for that one
Great cinematography!!!
GS - That may have been the best one yet.
Amazing vid/editing👍
Man,that was great!!!!!
Yo, great job with all the editing! I felt like I was watching a scene from a movie. Keep it up mate
Very nice. That was a clean sweep of The enemy base
Ya know, a mini series about heli dogfights would be interesting. Or just fights in general, in a city setting too, play hide and seek.
Hot sh*T!! Loved that! You're allowed to take breaks from the A-10 if you crank that stuff out....
I did miss the usual commentary, but the music choice and editing were 😚👌
Awesome video! More strike videos please!
What a sexy piece of short movie this was.
Crazy how much kaboom the F-15 can deliver in a sanitized airspace. I guess without the cruise missiles, a mission like this would be carried out by B2 (or B21 now) bombers?
The first AMRAAM slamming sideways into the Flanker was kinda funny tho 😄
Airbase? What airbase? Nicely done! I kept expecting your voice to pop in and discuss the plan, then I just sat and watched. 👌
Trying your hand at cinematics huh? F'ing good job sir!! More please!
this was good!! more please
Would love to get a little bit more explaining but all over all a cinematic masterpiece. Kepp it going GS.
Gawd dayum dude you went from making youtube let plays to downright works of art.
