To the people saying Chief Hong is like every other K-Drama Male Lead this is a proof he's different. I am in love on how he competes with Hye-Jin's father and rather get on his side he is showing him how true he is.
Du sik is good example for "a good guy" that so rare we see in drama. Usually, a good guy just be second lead meanwhile the lead is so arrogant/cold/talk less/serious etc..

Her step-moms expressions are the best! Notice how Hye-jin didnât jump right in to deny him being her boyfriend. Also, she seems annoyed when she asked him why he said that and he replied so he could get his hand back. At that point I think she would have liked to be his girlfriend for real.

This show is really refreshing and healing⊠my weekend stress reliever and pleasure giver. I feel sad knowing there are only 6 episodes left (only 3 weekends left) As early as now, I am hoping for season 2. I am glad itâs Saturday again!
I really love the acting details on every actor in this drama, especially Kim Seonho. he executed this character really well with his micro-expression and all. kudos to all the actor.
I also heard that the director don't really say "cut" and keeps the film rolling even when the actors make mistake, that's why it's full of adlib and the actors' expressions are natural.

I love all four characters in their own ways because the character developments were on point. Even though we only got to know Hye Jin's parents for a short period of time, I felt their dynamic and that they really loves HJ. I have to give shout out to the stepmom who was fantastic in episode 9. She was honest, understanding, and approved DS from the get go because she really cares for HJ and her husband.

Best of all, when her father tells him to wait, he has on a goofy grin, knowing his plan worked.

I like this drama, every character had their side of story and it explained thoroughly by the end of the drama. bitter, sweet, and wholesome moment was over the place. the character have fault, and each had their own character development to deal with their struggles/wrongdoing. it teaches the viewers that it takes time to know somebody and how it's important to protect trust you got from other people.
I really like this episode, With Hong Banjang, what you see is what you get. Even Tom in the end also falls for his sincerity
I have a friend who is a renowned medical specialist. Her husband is a postie who delivers mail. She loves her work and he enjoys his. They have been married for several years. They are both down to earth and extremely happy with their lot in life. They have a lovely circle of friends who are both medical people and down to earth ordinary folk, some are married, others are single. The couple is very happy and truly love each other. Their roles in life couldnât be more different, yet they get on superbly. Their roles in the home are sometimes reversed, but, it suits them perfectly. They make things work. When they meet with friends they are all on equal footing as friends and discuss various things that happen. Some interesting discussions crop up about their various jobs. They all help each other in their various capacities. I am part of their circle of friends and enjoy our times together. We are a lovely group of people, each one interesting in his/her own right. The couple in this drama accept each otherâs life skills unconditionally, and their differences. Itâs just lovely, and thatâs how it should be, never demeaning people because of their work. We recognise that each one of us is an integral stitch in the tapestry of life. The couple in this drama are each happy with their work. Honesty, humility and communication are vital to their happiness. There is no holding back on anything. Everything is discussed. Itâs too lovely for words. You can almost see them being contented and enjoying a sense of security because they love each other. You feel that the honeymoon period will never end; it will just mellow and mature. A very satisfying drama all round.

Remember that Korea (and more so the generation Hyejins dad is from) is quite conservative, hyejin just staying overnight at dusiks place or vice versa would be already something that could be seen as theyâre more than just friends/closer than just friends. Yes there couldâve slight insinuations that maybe they had sex in him saying âspending the night togetherâ but itâs more about the fact that for him if they had spent a night just talking or drinking alone and that they were seen hugging late at night, those werenât sexual things but would signify some sort of close, most likely romantic relationship between them. idk if he heard about the rumours of them actually sleeping together and just heard that they were together at night but that wouldâve been enough for him. I hope that makes sense.
