My ps4 was lagging, crashing, and running loud and slow. Now it feels like a brand new console, thank you!

Have you dropped it and cracked the case or something? Why wouldn't it "feel" like a brand new console the entire time? Did it collect 20lbs of dust inside of it and feel heavier? You removed the dust and now it's light and "feels like a brand new console"? Poor choice of a word.

I highly recommend anyone dying this to do this surgically. Get enough light, lay out all your tools neatly as you use them, and have a little tray or pan for each set of screws to be carful. It’s not to complicated but go slow and do not do this on a super humid day because I just suffered

I have all the things to clean and remove the screws EXCEPT the torx security screwdriver to remove the screws at the back, I don’t want to buy a screwdriver online and have 20$ shipping for a one time use item because I live in Canada. I really need to clean it soon because I’m running behind in all my games, if anyone AND IM BEGGING, anyone has a way to remove the security screws at the back without the special screwdriver, please let me know, if there isn’t any way I guess I’m going to have to pay 8 dollars+ 20$ shipping for one screwdriver 😕 anyway would appreciate the help if you could

I don't see how spinning the fan could cause a "short" on the motherboard. a short is when you create an unintended path for current to travel across a circuit with no resistance causing damage. spilling water or touching a tool across two parts of a motherboard, for example. why would simply spinning a fan create a short? i think the concern with the fan is wearing out the brushes by spinning it too fast or damaging the motor?. even that i'm dubious about...sounds like one of those discussion-board myths to me.

Altoelder I have a problem on my PS4 named CE-34333-6 and there is no solution on internet for it.
I have followed steps in your video with option number 7 but it doesn't help.
If you have any suggestion I would be very thankfull.

Kid said it was broken. He was selling it for parts. We reinstalled the operating system and it's run like a champ. Cleaning the dust out of the machine made it run a lot quieter and faster too.

Do you have an idea how much does this process cost if I give in a repair shop?

A lot. Then you run the risk of them not actually doing anything but a light cleaning without taking anything apart and still charging you like they did.

You’ll end up getting a guy like this youtuber who will do a half ass job and won’t care because it isn’t his. Best off just doing it yourself.
