besides using ratio and topaz as FUA, i had more fun using other characters like himeko, herta, clara and xueyi.
Works great for me since Clara is the only follow uo attack character I normally use lol. Got himeko leveled aswell though. Tempted to try Clara and Jingliu with Robin then sustain

I like Clara in this same team comp over Ratio. Since she gets target so heavily deals about the same damage just over more turns

Somehow blade benefits from her as well i just did 400k+ follow up with blade on moc, i have blade e0s1, ruan e0s1, robin e0s0, and lynx e4. Happy to know that i can use blade again he was benched for 1 months already
I tried my ratio with and without robin when i was doing gold and gears (he's lvl 60 ) with robin he did 900k and without robin he did 680k. This is just an example for how much she can increase dmg and the numbers can change from person to person

This Dr. Ratio/Topaz/Anenturine/Robin is one of the most expensive archetypes for F2Ps: in order for it to function, you need Aventurine's LC, Topaz E1 and LC, and Dr. Ratio's LC, and certainly Robin's E1 would complete the bare minimum for the team to be "on steroids". Try this team - Dr. Ratio E0 with Cruising in the Stellar See, Aventurine E0 with Gepard's LC, Robin E0 with the new event LC, and Topaz E0 with ... I can't even name another light cone for her, I would never know what to give her... River Flows? Hype, hype, overhype.
Now i can beat Gold and Gears at level 5 stage thanks to Miss Robin
Without signature lightcones or eidolons, this team doesn't have enough debuffs for Dr Ratio.

As badly as I want this team, every character will be e0 aside from my ratio who is e0s1. So getting those follow up attacks won’t be guaranteed for dr ratio

i have a question about this team as i have all 4 but my aventurine kinda goes on a lot of the teams i make if i was doing yk MoC or some and using this team + another team does aventurine really need to be on this team or could i throw him on the other team and have someone else fill his place in topaz robin ratio team
Yes, you can most definitely replace aventurine. The reason hes used is because hes a great sustain with follow up attacks (which robin sorta buffs) as long as you replace him with another sustain it should be fine
thank you that is kinda what i was thinking he may be the best sustain for that team but he is just on my account the best sustain i have meaning all my teams are kinda gonna benefit from having him and i didn't think he was THAT needed for this team

Ruan Mei is better in that team, but tbh you should take off Topaz from that team. She and Jingliu doens’t synergize since the latter is a hypercarry. Pair her with Bronya and / or Sparkle instead

I'm somewhat on the fence about getting robin for this team. Does anyone know how big the difference between pela on s5 luca lc and e0 robin with s5 event lc is?
Def shred isn't that OP unless you're stacking a lot of it (It scales exponentially), and other than Ratio LC nothing on the team abuses def shred.
Whereas Robin with Skill gives 50% dmg bonus, 20% Crit dmg, and with ultimate 25 Follow up crit dmg, around 900-1k atk, and her own dmg (with event LC its around 15-20k) on each of your hits. Skill has 100% uptime and ult has 66-100% uptime.
TLDR The difference will be quite huge. Its difficult to quantify as I don't know what LC, Eidolon u have on them, but getting Robin for Folllow up will be like getting E2 on a hypercarry in a hypercarry team. (around 25-30% increase over Pela)
@blazikenfury8852 i have sig lc on all of them and ratio on e1. So i do get just enough debuffs for ratio. What main stats would i need with event lc? And just in general how high does def shred need to be to be actually significant?
Sorry for bombarding you with questions 🙈 the main reason I'm still on the fence is bc I'm already farming for hmc and boothill so adding another character needs to be very justified for me lol

So my question is, is Robin worth it even though I don't have Adventurine, but I do have Rain Mei, and I use silver wolf with Dr.ratio and Topaz ATM, with Loucha as the healer
Yes, robin will absolutely help your current team comp, aventurine isn't needed for robins team comps he's just a great choice because of his follow up attacks and his sustainability. I'd reccomend getting her, but since you have ruan mei you could also skip the only reason to pull her is for 2-team content, hope this helps.
You'd also be replacing silver wolf with robin losing out on a debuff since you still need a sustain.
my reccomended team comp if you have them is
Robin/luocha/topaz/ratio
Ruanmei/SW/Gallagher/Acheron
If you don't have acheron you can switch it out with any other standard dps and change your sustain unit just depends on what units you have tbh
@@PsAcc3 yeah I'ma skip Robin, I did some research and also realized my account is stacked and don't need any more OP/meta charecters, my Acheron team has Kafka and Black Swan, I have a Jingliu team with Bronya and Raun Mei, plusy Dr ratio, Topaz, silver wolf team, and finally a Himeko and Herta team, and right now I'm saving up for Firefly, so I'll have a Firefly, Ruan Mei, HMC, Galigar team
If only I got aventurine and not Losing To Walmart Jingliu 😢. At least I got E1 Robin.

It's overkill, you can replace Def% main stats for damage, like Crit Damage and Imaginary Damage, speed if you need aswell, just 4k is enough on him
Honestly it was worth pulling for robin because now I can listen to this cringe idol pop song while I murder everything in the game by throwing chalks and pigs. 10/10 peak hoyoverse gameplay.

just to clarify, swarm disaster and gold & gears are very different mods. they have different path/dice mechanics and tell a different story :)

I dont wanna pull for robin coz it would take too much investment, seeing as this FUA team is the “strongest” that has robin in it. 1. Have to pull robin. 2. Have to pull topaz. 3. Have to farm trace mats / relics for all 3 of them.
Im only just now finishing up on my trace mats for my 13 characters i use. My traces above lv8 i have are JY’s talent lv10, acheron’s ult lv12, jingliu’s skill lv10. About to get sparkle skill to lv10. And aventurine talent to lv9.
She makes Acherons attacks absolutely ridiculous and erudition buffs make Acheron go absolutely insane along with Robin and if sparkle was added my lord… that would be dangerous
She doesn't make any difference for Acheron
Why would you use Robin for Acheron 💀
Even at E2 you'd rather have 1 DEF shred Nihility character + Sparkle with Acheron, not Robin. Unless you're E2 and going for no-sustain, but even then, Robin doesn't do as much for Acheron, especially since Acheron tends to not build SPD and have her supports be fast instead (less Actions during Robin Ult = less Robin damage)

Jade won’t fit well here and topaz is only consistent for ratio with e1 or her lightcone ( if u have aventurine e2 or lightcone u can go e0s0 on topaz )
