if you have or ever get c1* zhongli, him and kachina might take enough pyro aura with their crystalizes (.5 right?) (zhongli's pillars dont sync up pulses by default, only the resonances with other constructs necessarily sync, which is to say construct pulses are an extension of their respective pillar's) to make vape hutao possible on your polearms only account with candace, which would be great if so given hutao's hp to atk conversion means she prefers dmg %, so the team would like perfectly compliment chevreuse - arlecchino insofar as what buffs they prefer. it would be a bit rng and require perfectly timing the zhongli pillars and kachina, though.
it would be extremely jank and contextual, but it might exist without purposeful delays or whatnot in hutao play. which is to say, if the stars line up in terms of how kachina works and the enemy lineups you go against, you might be able to play hutao as intended* at risk of dying horribly to corrosion and whatnot. i don't actually think its likely, and it comes at cost of opening with hutao burst to get the set bonus on kachina, but could potentially skill vape with candace, though you might hafta smack an enemy once with hutao before using her skill for insurance. if it does function, your basically punching in nuclear launch codes before playing in the worst case scenario lmfao.
you would end up with:
team order: Hutao - Zhongli - Kachina - Candace
Hutao burst -> Zhongli tap skill -> kachina skill -> Zhongli Hold skill -> Normal Candace Things -> switch to Hutao and slap your enemy once to proc candace c6 -> Normal Hutao things
then you rotate normally and conveniently from there without nuclear launch code prep in single target scenarios or if a single zhongli pillar survives till the end of the rotation in other circumstances.
a cursed ping check, basically.
an appeal of this if it does work is it means farming the petra domain becomes not unreasonable. Hutao isnt using burst for damage and can make use of retracing bolide, which saves energy and improves survivability / consistency over marechausse and shimenawa. 4 piece petra can give zhongli way more value over tenacity personally and for the team, especially but not necessarily if its a mono team (2 geo 2 x element), especially but not necessarily if you use his meteor (say you have a homa Zhongli - cinder city Kachina - Shenhe - Rosaria team and your further amplifying quils applied to a hyper invested rosaria, then swapping back to nuke with zhongli). alternatively, you can run 2 piece atk% time piece petra on Homa Zhongli and PJWS (max stacks) Yun Jin (her burst) both focusing on crit substats - cinder city kachina, and x element unit to proc cinder city kachina, say tenacity raiden to buff their bursts. stuff like that. having a real second geo unit (rip yunjin) is actually nuts for convenience. Just the ease of use of like, 2 piece petra zhongli 2pc petra kachina, rosaria, and marechausse xiao (just don't get hit and clear whatever in 3 waves) could be significant. 4pc petra also comparatively buffs 2pc atk % 2pc atk% on units, making the dmg % often associated with 4pcs less important, therefore freeing up artifacts, if at all helpful.
not to like, dictate you should do this with your account. i'm sorry if this is way too much, i was having some fun theorycrafting since im not spending time on much rn. but yeah a relevant geo resonance might be alot for your account, just cause the unconditional (sans shield) 15% damage bonus combines very well with zhongli shred, not even considering kachina's artifact set or 4pc petra, and having an actual reason to make use of that, is fun to think of. between this and chevreuse, polearms only is in a really cool place, its fun watching the unjanking in real time, as per mihoyo's grace. wonder if claymores will ever reach that. bows, catalysts, and swords have kind of always had that flexibility, though bow only demands the best positioning since your 10 million taunts need to actually function on your non diona teams.
will kachina + the new set and chiori + petra mono element teams be the easiest damage in the game now between buffs given and having 3 (mostly) neutral turrets at once? probably. unsure wether to be upset or not, given im glad 1 of those units provides so much for a 4 star by base virtue of their functionality. time will tell. it does fix a component of crystalize dependent geo resonance, which is that it requires not 1 but 2 hits of trash damage to get the full benefit of geo resonance, the second being the hit that applies the debuff after the initial crystalize, and hey would you look at that all of your hits are trash damage (not implying bad damage, disposable would be a better term haha).
that plus yae and fischl would be incredibly funny, even if it looses out on aggravate. turret quickswap.
Depends on how you define “easiest” dmg. Personally Id consider the easiest sources of dmg in the game to be from transformative reactions because they require the least investment. But as far as simple ways to increase talent/crit based damage, Kachina will be a easy accessible option at least. Chiori of course would be good to pair with her but is a five star who requires investment
i finally 36 starred the abyss. took only 2 years but finally 300+ping and mobile gameplay couldn’t stop me😊
