The terrorism incidents on 9-11-2001 changed the way we all looked at security planning and management forever. Prior to 9-11 those of us that were tasked with planning and managing sports and special event security primarily planned for traffic, parking, crowd management, and an occasional weather-related incident. That has all changed and continues to evolve.
