Het al net so gesukkel met tubes. My taalgebruik was baie lelikker as julle sin😂. Het nou maar n tubeless setup en gebruik n tube net as last resort. Lyk na n awesome trip.👊
The main reason for our tube failures was that we tried to fit mouses before the trip. But when we couldn’t find rim locks that work we had to change back to tubes. But the moose lubricant wasnt removed and when the tubes was moving inside the tyre it got too warm and raptured.
Ok, dit maak nou sin , ek het Tuli al 2 keer gedoen met standard tubes, gelukkig tussen 4 bikes nie een failure gehad nie.@@sunsettribegear My gat jeuk om dit weer te doen

Hullo julle. Het julle trip geniet. Dit het my baie laat verlang terug na Afrika. Ja ook na Alldays en die omgewing aangesien ek nog n plaas het naby Platjan grenspos. Ek bly in New Zealand. Julle is welkom om op my plaas te kom Wild Camp as jy weer Tuli Block toe gaan. My plaas is 25km van die grenspos af. Indien julle nie regkom met Rim Locks nie laat weet my dan ek ek vir julle kry hier in NZ waar dit vrylik beskikbaar is.Ek vlieg Afrika toe in middel Maart 2024 en sal op my plaas wees. Ek land in Jhb en kan julle iewers ontmoet oppad plaas toe. Ek het menige male die plekke besoek waar julle was. Groete

Way too much weight.. From the size of you guys plus all that gear plus full tanks of gas = too much friction in the tires. Look at your suspension and see the back is down and makes the front ride up and squiggle on the sand. 7;30 shows the skill level of your mates.
No Unfortunately not. We have done many thousands of kms on similar roads without problems. And have since found the cause. We were developing a rim lock to use rally mouses but had to change back to a tube just before the trip. The tyre was not washed and the moose lubricant was left in. This causes the tyre to move inside the tyre and rapture.
