  • In a previous video, I asked people to send me their ideas for domain clashing, and a lot of people made some really good ideas! This video will go through the ideas people made and talk about why they work or why they don’t work in depth.

    In jjk, domain clashes are won by 3 different ways:
    -The most refined Domain wins.
    -If both are equally refined, the one who runs out of cursed energy first loses.
    -If neither happens, both sure-hit effects are canceled until someone cant mantain the domain anymore (by damage or a broken barrier).
    Based on that, here's my idea:
    While in the domain clash, your ultimate bar keeps decreasing at the same rate as before domain, if you run out of ultimate, you lose. Same like a suggestion in the video, whoever wins gets a bonus, something like 40% more ultimate bar, and i believe losing a domain battle is already a de-buff, most domains are a guaranteed death.
    After some time in the clash (10-15 sec), if there it isn't a winner yet, whoever has more health % wins. Here's an example:
    Start of the domain clash
    -Vessel, 85 hp, 100% of their health
    -The Honored One, 100 hp, 100% of their health
    -Restless Gambler, 100 hp, 100% of their health
    End of the domain clash
    -Vessel, 43 hp, 51% of their health
    -The Honored one, 63 hp, 63% of their health
    -Restless Gambler, 30 hp, 30% of their health
    The Honored One wins.
    Other people that have entered the domain clash could also do dmg and interact with the domain users.
    The domain clash barrier could be 3 in 1, if someone breaks a barrier in the outside, RNG decides who is out of the clash, conserving his ult, but losing the domain.
    Or you could make it a Rock-Paper-Scissors.

    My domain clash suggestion is that when a domain clash happens the people clashing their domains will get teleported in to a mix of both of their domains(its only visual, the domains wont have their effect yet) and will lose all of their abilities leaving them with only their m1s, block and dash. The person who is able to hit a m1 first wins the domain clash. The people who get caught in the domain clash but aren't clashing their domains will be frozen in place(but will be invincible) until someone wins the clash.

    I have a decent idea I think :
    - Once someone is caught during the expansion of a domain they are able to open theirs during the time the domain opens or during the domain (even in gojo's)
    - The domain is split into multiple ones from the clash, the users of these domains are immune from the effects of the others
    - Players who are not part of the domain clahs (non domain expanders) will endure lessen effects from all domain
    - Sukuna's slashes are at a slower rate
    - Gojo's freeze is replace by a slow down(even for moves)
    - Mahito's meters will go down much slower/will require the Perfection player to be even closer to reduce the meter. Also, maybe it oculd only deal a limited amount of damage instead of a one-shot
    - Hakari's reduces the TOTALLY REAL sur hit effect by 50%.
    - The users have a hiiden or shown meter next to them which indicates their domain expansion, dealing damage to the user will reduce this meter, meter which will either replenish over time or reduce(ill explain this right below)
    - If the meter replenishes, a timer will be added during the clash, whoever ends up with the most amount of domain left wins the clahs and expands their domain with the expected duration and effects, encouraging a more defensive playstyle to avoid getting damaged too much
    OR
    - If the meter goes down, it will set a timer which will force players to fight to break the enemies domain before theirs run out, encouraging an agressive playstyle to take down your enemies meter first(Naturally if both players refuse to fight their domains will simply not be summoned because both meters will reach zero at the same time)
    Some other ideas/thoughts(just a lot of maybes and why nots) :
    -If the meter replenishes over time it could allow for some cool domain cooperation where two players work together to take out enemies or even other domain clashers
    - Hakari could definitely use a domain meter boost, considering he's not in possession of any busted moves like how gojo, sukuna or mahito could have
    - Why not let non-clashers could be able to deal damage to the clasher's meters, so if you're caught in a domain clash with a gojo or sukuna, you could attempt at killing sukuna first so gojo has his cooldowns etc...
    - Visual effects could be added, the domain meter makes your domain less prohiminent in the clash (like the enemy domain takes over)
    - Megumi's invasion could have a similar effect where it makes the enemies domain get the clashing debuff, allowing players to evade from it (please Tze, give megumi an actual domain 🙏)
    - Why not make it so that if 3 players domain clash, after a first player's domain is overtaken, the two last players get a slight regen to their domain meter, to make the domain clash last a lil longer (not sure about this one)

      I think the problem with this ideas, even the ones on the video isn't the creativity it's the simplicity because jjs isn't a serious game like sorceries battlegrounds all the ideas given are too complex for a game like jjs
      W idea though
      My idea : tag there's a timer and whoever is "it" when the timer ends loses the clash
      Or maybe just a FNF battle

    The way the clash could work.
    When clashing; They are initially just in a white void.
    In the WHITE VOID:
    - They can't use techniques, just melee.
    - Your Ultimate Bar doesn't deplete.
    - They get a Secondary Bar similar to Mahoraga that starts at 50% and increases per hit.
    - The bar goes down gradually so you HAVE TO fight.
    - If a player's bar reaches 0%, they lose the clash.
    - If a player gets hit, they lose 10%
    - If a player lands a hit, they gain 20%
    - The White Void only lasts 8 seconds, and whoever's bar was highest wins the clash.
    - If the difference in their bar is close to 10%, then both players lose their domain.
    - Only the Domain users will fight during the 8 seconds; While every other person who got caught in the domain gets to watch on the side. (And because it only lasts 8 seconds, it doesn't feel like a waste of time.)
    And if we wanna be funny like the manga: If both players lose the clash, they can use their Domain again, but whoever loses the clash this time DIES. So it's super risky (Specially when both players managed to tie before, so it should be a fair battle.)
    And if other people gets caught again, it's just 16 seconds of watching 2 people beat each other, so it's not a time waster or anything.

      Also another question see when you said when a hit lands you gain 20% then shouldn’t 3 M1s just win you the game

      Maybe if getting hit loses 5% and landing a hit gives 10% making it so one m1 combo doesnt just win it straight out, and I guess losing 2-4% every second would balance it out somewhat

    i got an idea, the two people get closed in a domain clash, seperated from everyone else. the two people have to press the domain button to expand their's over the other persons domain, but here comes the good part. the more the domain is expanded, the more the domain effect affects the person during the clashing, so like if there is a sukuna vs gojo, there will be slashes. the more the sukuna guy expands his domain, the more the slashes deal damage. for gojo, the more he expands his domain, the more the player gets slowed down, if sukuna expands his domain fully, he will deal all the slash damages, and if gojo fully expands his domain, the person wont be able to move anymore, everything all while fighting in a domain hybrid of course, so that means you gotta fight while not forgetting to press your domain expansion button daily

      With press the domain button do you mean they just have to spam it? That seems like it could not only be easily exploited but also kinda ruins the purpose of increasing your domains effectiveness

    How I would do domain clashing is that you would have to pick which moves from your ultimate you have to sacrifice whoever sacrifices. The more moves gets their domain. After the domains over, they will get their ultimates moves back.

    Idea for Domain Clashing 1v1 only: Risks.
    E.g:
    Provide players with 2 bars: Durability and Time. Players can supply the Durability bar and undo. The one with more durable domain after the time limit wins the clash.
    Durability ~ Fatigue:
    [Punishment] is proportional. Only the loser receives corresponding/reduced/no [Punishment] .
    When a player uses up his/her Fatigue, he/she will receive a considerable [Punishment] and the opponent will win the clash and only receive a significantly reduced [Punishment] and a [Reward].

    Concept: Both players are locked in the barrier of their domain, as their ultimate bar slowly depletes landing attacks on the opponent will make their bar drain faster after 15 seconds whoever has more of their bar wins (If one loses their bar completely the other's domain takes over, even if the 15 seconds aren't up)

    Here’s what I thought up to include some elements like megumi stalling against dagons domain and sukunas domain breaking when too much damage is taken etc:
    Once a domain clash is started both players will have a bar that goes up when they take damage and a more lengthy timer at the top of the screen. If the timer runs out the player with more damage will win the clash but a heavy penalty to domain time will be applied. If your bar is filled up the other wins the clash but with a penalty to domain time depending on what the timer is at. Breaking from the outside will lower the timer.

    I have a couple ideas for domain clashing, first, a game of tic-tac-toe, if its a tie then it restarts until there's a winner.
    a short quiz where you answer easy math questions, first to answer all correctly wins.
    a short piano minigame, where there are notes displayed from a random jjk song, and you have to play the corresponding row of notes shown, whoever is more on rhythm and closest to the song wins.
    lastly, arcade games, a random arcade game is selected (both players have the same one) and whoever has the higher score at the end, wins.
    I forgot to mention, when there's a domain clash, nobody should be able to escape, so if you were trying to get a specific person, but somebody else clashes your domain, that specific person cant just escape cause of the domain clash, everybody in the initial domain would be stuck in it.
    I just hope the domain clashing isn't the regular boring button pressing, it would be lame and ruin a part of the game for me

    I have 2 ideas:
    1-you get in a mini game and you start with 1 out of 4 chance of winning domain, but you have to dodge meteors or else you will get 1 out of 5 chance and etc if you get hit again.
    2-the more ult bar you have the more chance you get domain for example

    I have a way to fix the last one but it kinda needs to change a bit of how awakening works. When a person awakens anybody close has a window to jump in (kinda like uno) and use their awakening, making everybody who awakened have max amount of awakening bar. And every time somebody uses a special, move etc it drains they ult bar just a tiny tiny bit. To make this balanced the ult bar drain needs to drain way less.

    How i would do it is as you clash you can sacrifice you special moves and whoever sacrifices more moves wins And if they both sacrifice all their moves, the Domains would cancel out and Your special moves will.
    Go on, cool down. But if you sacrifice more, your domain win But you can't use the moves you sacrific while the domain is active

    Adding on to Dr4ko_09's idea(10:07), both domain casters awakening bars are replenished visually
    (by visually I mean it'll fill up but will no longer represent how much awakening time you have left)
    and can be replenished by dealing damage(Similarly to Mahoraga's Awakening bar but obviously on a lesser scale)
    to avoid the pointlessness of casting when you awakened first, it'd be more like gambling on who you believe will play better mid clash.
    When someone's bar runs out, opposing casters die or After a set amount of time, the awakening bar will Re-represent awaken duration , the clash will end and whoever has the most of the bar will win
    (Can be broken from the outside)
    for example if it is confusing:
    - Gojo user is at 10% awakening
    - Sukuna user is at 70% awakening
    - Domain clash begins
    - Both characters awakening bars now represent the clash
    - After like 15 seconds, Gojo's awakening deactivates
    - Sukuna still has awakening
    - Sukuna is (probably) bodying Gojo
    - Sukuna wins domain clash
    ^Hope this explanation is good enough👍

    domain clash idea: almost everyone doesn't know what an actual domain clash is, domain clashing in jjk is basically like rock paper scissors but with barriers here's how it works
    once both players use their domain at the same time they can choose to either have 1. barrierless domain 2. normal domain and 3. small barrier domain, like in the manga no barrier beats normal domain and small domain beats no barrier domain etc. the players will have 5 seconds to choose and while choosing they can still fight so basically like the binding vow menu but on top of the screen so it doesn't block vision. after the 5 seconds the domains will change forms and after that the losing domain will shatter(btw if tze is too lazy to make barrierless he can js make the domain big and small) a small feature that i personally want is after domain clash the domain cd is 30 sum so both can clash again (in the manga btw)
    for the ppl who don't believe this is how domain clashing works read gojo vs sukuna in the manga chapter

      domain clash is a tug of war, does't matter if is barrier less our not
      once a domain clash against another the most refined one wins, if 2 domains are equally matched the sure hit effect of both is cancelled and however takes heavy damage our run out of cursed energy loses
      barrierless domains have just a bit of advantage since they can clash against others domains even if they dont have much cursed energy and still negate their sure hit

    I think this is a pretty decent idea for a domain clash:
    1.When 2 or more players open their domain, only the domain users are caught in it
    2.The players each make up a combo to trap the other player in and whoever had the longest combo wins the domain clash (+domain users are made to use their base forms as ults have mostly AOE moves)

    I got an idea and idk if this is thought of yet.
    Basically once their barriers are up, there is gonna be a bar at the left side of your screen that goes down over time, and if that bar goes empty the barrier of your domain collapses. To keep the bar up, your gonna have to press a certain key, holding it or spamming it, and ofc, if you get stunned you cant use the key. Meaning your gonna have to fight whilst keeping the bar up so you wont get destroyed.
    (Edit: if the users take too long to destroy each other's domain, even whilst the barrier and the bar is up, both domain will collapsw simultaneously.

    My idea, when your in a domain clash, you slowly take damage, and the last person to click out of there domain (by pressing it again) they get there domain open. For example a gojo and a sukuna go into a domain clash, they would hold the same pose and slowly take damage if the sukuna lets go of there domain and the gojo dosent, they both sustain the damage they took during the clash but gojo’s domain is active whilst sukuna’s is cancelled

    to me the suggestion that makes the most sense is that both domains will be inactive and there will be like a 10 second timer where damage that you and the opponent deal are stored until after the timer is over, which then the game decides who wins by making an average of your hp and the damage that you dealt to anyone within that domain clash, ofc to prevent ppl from just using awakening moves u would only be able to use m1s and specials (rip itadori), this way people with lower hp would still be able to win if they dealt enough damage and its better than to just get the hp number or the damage number seperately.
    after either of you win, the one who lost would be hit by either the full sure hit effect or a slightly worse version, both are fine imo.

    Gave me inspiration, im gonna suggest that that the players are gonna have to fight and the ult bar temporarily becomes their hp, using skills takes some of the bar, but it will never fully empty it, so using m1s will be safer than spamming your moves, when the domain clash happens the ult bars restore to how much the player with the most ult bar has, the player thats defeated loses their ult and gets hit by the domain, while the one who wins gets a little bit less of how much ult they had before the domain clash / they get 50% of their ult bar.

    Idea:
    When you enter a domain clash, you have to battle the opponent, with a certain damage frame having to be reached to "win". The damage taken during a domain clash doesn't affect your ACTUAL hp. Also, when a clash occurs, a gui similar to the binding vow selection pop up, with these 3 options:
    Smaller Barrier - You take less damage, but you can't deal as much damage.
    Normal Domain - Your damage would be the same, and your damage TAKEN will be the same.
    Larger Barrier - You take MORE damage, but you can deal more damage than usual.
    Domain HP would be equal for *ANY* character in the domain clash. (100 HP.) And, if the fight takes too long, both players lose grip on their domain, and both domains collapse.

    A suggestion I put in the discord and got some pretty good replies on is the sacrifice idea
    Instead of pressing buttons faster than the other player for a domain clash, a slider pops, and you have 5 seconds to pick a number on it (1-100), who ever picks the highest number wins, but they lose that amount of their current ult. (I think its a neat and og idea)
    And if you don't have the sufficient ult time for the number, it removes your ult (with the numbers earlier) and any numbers left over removes that many 0.5 seconds from your domain and deals the same number in damage

    I have and idea.
    -You could be locked into a like clash where you have to spam m1
    which depending on who is winning the other person would slowly
    lose there dominion to eventually the other persons dominion takes over
    what is would look like- I would imagine there would be a beam of there energy and with
    both of the beams meeting in the middle

    *If two people use their domains at the same time close together, two domain spheres appear and trap everyone inside. The inside of the domain will have the appearance of both the domains, but none of the effects until the clash ends. The first person to deal damage to the other domain user wins the clash and their domain takes over, and the effect of the domain begins. If no one deals damage after a certain amount of time the domains explode and no one gets it*

    In my opinion, Domain Clash would be like a collision of domains in which both appear in a small cutscene showing the domains colliding and a random keyboard key, whoever clicked on that key the most times would win, in Mobile, you would get in a random place on your screen a button to click. With random keys it would not be possible to use a Macro as you wouldnt know which key you will receive and on Mobile you would not be able to use an Auto Click as you would not know where to configure it to click.

    I got a idea:
    when a domain clash happens the affects still work on the oppenent but not as much, for example:
    -Honered ones domain when clashing makes the oppenents mashing thing take 1-2 seconds longer to load
    - Vessels domain when clashing makes the opponent take some damage every time Vessel presses the correct letter
    -Restless Gamblers domain when clashing makes it so that he can still gamble every time he finishes a button sequence but it has a 10% chance on working and theres only 3 tries so there is no garuntee in a jackpot
    -Mahitos domain when clashing makes it so that theres still a bar next to the opponent and every time mahito finishes a button sequence the bar goes down 10-20%

    the most reasonable domain clash-esque idea imo is:
    rule 1: domains must be somewhat close in time (0.45s diff max) and during clash, the sphere is half and half in color
    rule 2: the first person who loses 20 hp has their domain shattered, person who lost most damage after 10 seconds loses automatically
    rule 3: during the domain, neither main party feels effects (it cancels out) but all others inside the clash experience both effects *at full*
    rule 4: no moves can be used during the domain, only default M1 (sukuna m1s dont exist) and dash
    rule 5: after one side overtakes, their domain is shortened to ~5 or more seconds and the winning color overtakes the domain's outside appearance
    in other words, in the case of a sukuna vs gojo clash, the following would occur:
    -sukuna and gojo main would each be trying to attack eachother
    -other people in domain would be getting slashed and unable to move
    -outsiders would see half of the domain as black, and half as white, before seeing it turn to one of the colors.
    note: hakari's domain, which doesn't end by a timer, would stay endless after the domain clash ends in the case of a victory.
    note 2: this could be turned into a team strategy by combining UV and self embodiment of perfection, leaving people unable to move and dying.

    I have a idea
    During a domain clash both users get there ult bar turned to a domain bar and they have to fight it out the one with the lower domain bar can get there domain overtaken from the bigger domain like how fraudkuna did with go/jo and the other user domain gets a better effect due to there domain getting hit from the outside and inside the hp bar is replaced with the domain bar and they both have to deal damage to win

    my idea for domain clashing, the 2 or more users after activating their domain they need to mantain the domain open by clicking a button and also need to fight and get the less damage posibble, the person who haves more life, more dmg and his domain still active has the sure hit and the domain

    I have an idea that matches the idea and type of game that is jujutsu Shenanigans.
    A simple game of rock, paper, and scissors:
    When two players were making a domain expansion clash, both would have 5 seconds to choose 3 options, rock, paper, and scissors. The winner would have possession of the domain and if by chance there was a tie, two things could happen, either the match would restart for a tiebreaker, or neither of the two would have the domain expansion.
    And I also thought that in case of a domain expansion clash between 3 or more people, the players could play a game where the 3 (or more) players would have to choose between the number 0 or 1, the player who does not pick the same number as the other, will win the domain expansion, this could be shown with the characters choosing the numbers indicating with their fingers.
    For example, if 2 players choose the number 1 and only one player chooses the number 0, the player who chose that number would win the domain expansion. The animation could be the player pointing a finger or having a closed fist, indicating the number 0.

    My idea for a domain clash would be for a small basic timing minigame to pop up, where you need to hit 3 semi-randomized timings with about the span of a second. The closer you are to the perfect timing, the more "points" you get, and the one with the most points gets their domain.
    Personally, I feel like domain clashes should be pretty short. Imo longer concepts kill the pacing of a fight + everyone else just caught in the domain has nothing to do (imagine being in an intense fight when a domain clash happens and you just sit around for 30 seconds waiting for the domain users to finish their clash).
    A timing minigame like this only adds about a second, keeping the pace of the fight, works with domain clashes above 2 people, and is not terribly difficult to make.
    I'd also argue that lore wise this makes decent sense, since the more refined domain is the one that wins a clash, and a timing minigame feels closer to that than having the domain users fight.

    Im gonna just make stuff up and edit in as i go:
    1: Whoever gets ragdolled (by anything) slightly loses their side of the domain, and if they are ragdolled again, they lose
    2: You have to land an ultimate/special attack (Black Flash Red, World Slash, Fire Arrow, or hollow purple, etc.) without it being cancelled/missing, and whoever lands it wins
    3: The domains will be halfed, and you have to damage an object in the other persons half (The sukuna shrine, or the eye looking thing in unlimited void)
    4: A question system (Questions about tze, the games he works on, etc) and whoever gets it right first wins
    5: a color matching sequence (pick a color thats in your domain first)
    6: A guessing game (Like the names of certain skills for different characters, Ex: Who was the first character in early acces/free character, what is the name of Vessel 3rd skill, what is the name of Honored One's ult,etc.) and whoever gets their right first wins

    Mine is a cross between hakari domain and mini games
    Step 1
    A random mini game will be selected not like the flappy bird and other mini game tze already has but instead something like running a restaurant( cooking and serving food mini game) or mini golf
    The mini games will be very similar to hakari domain in terms of aspects and transitioning between scenario and waiting room
    Step 2
    To give players more of an incentive to play the mini games a timer will be put at the top of the screen at the start of the each mini game
    Step 3
    To decide the winner there can be many methods
    Winner of first mini game
    First to two in a row
    Best of three
    Also to not make these mini games drag out of a player has an exceedingly more points than another player(the player credibly amount of points will depend on the mini game) then the person with the exceedingly more points wins immediately without need for more mini games in the case that the winner isn’t determined by winner of first mini game
    I know this is a lot and possibly over complicated so if you read all of it I appreciate you

    if 2 players open domains within 0.5 seconds of eachother, each player has three options: 1. deploy a sinple domain. 2. expand their domain. 3. do nothing
    if both players choose to open their domains, both domains cancel and are put on a 20 second CD. both players enter technique burnout and cant use anything involving their CT for 5 seconds
    if one decides to open a simple and the other decides to open their domain. the person who chose simple will be guarded by the domains effects and attacks made by the domain owner for 8 seconds. Time can be extended by not moving or using moves, the domain owner can enter the simple domain and knock the other person out of it. the person who deployed their simple domain will lose 50% of their current bar
    if one chooses nothing and the other chooses their domain. the persons domain is created and the person is basically defenseless
    if one chooses nothing and the other chooses simple. the simple user loses 50% of their current bar.
    if both choose nothing then their domains are put on 10 second CD

    what would be better is if you win a domain clash there would be different visual effects or even a additional advantage like being able to expand your domain as sukuna and be able to do way more damage depending how close your everyone the domain are to the shrine since cannonically thats the only way sukuna wins a clash.
    and for hakari it could make it so everyone in the domain gets stunned for a few seconds and it just starts throwing them around the domain basically disrupting their movements

    ive got a more.. lore accurate idea
    basically, when two users use their domain, both domains are going to get merged, and ill explain how at the end. while both domains are active, they nullify each other's sure hit effect, making it so sukuna's has no slashes and gojo's doesnt paralyze you
    to keep your domain active, you need to mash your domain key faster and faster as time goes on, the first person to either mash slower than the required quota or stop mashing entirely loses the clash and the merged domain now transform's into the winner's domain. also, while domain clashing, the music inside the domain is muted, and the domains look merged from the outside (half white half black if its a clash between gojo and sukuna etc.)
    the domains get merged by taking each person's domain barrier and merging it together, making it a 50/50, and if the domain has an object (shrine, hands, or the little eye thing gojo has) it gets put on their own respective side
    in the event that more domain user's clash, the domains get merged by giving the third person their own side, and now two people need to lose in order to make one domain take over
    this lasts for 30 seconds, or until the others stop button mashing, the domain gets broken or the others die (to which the winner's domain will take over for some amount of time)
    another suggestion i could make is to make it so you can cancel your domain (if you kill your opponents early to not waste time, or if you missed)
    and another is after your domain ends, you will experience curse technique burnout where you cant use any moves that require cursed energy, doing so regardless will cause brain damage and deal 10-80% of your health depending on how powerful the move is

    I would personally combine the 3rd and 5th suggestion, making the meter you are using the ult meter. That way you have the incentive to clash when you are low as an opportunity to refill your ult. Making the ult meter drain when you take damage in this phase and replenish as you deal damage at an accelerated rate. Whoever loses their meter first loses the clash. I feel like you might also want the cursed technique burnout as a part of this, but im not sure.

    the domain size suggestion where you spend ult meter to determine size (why is it size lol) and the bigger domain wins does kinda make sense tho. You just have to make 2 changes.
    1 ur domain is cancelled if you run out of ult (makes sense right???? considering domain size is used by ult meter)
    2 if u tie a person whoever spent their meter first wins (to settle ties).
    if u win with 50 spent meter u have to guess if ur opponent put like 30 or 1 meter on the line (to run away prematurely or predict when they get all their base moves which actually do big dmg and combo)
    if u max out ur domain, ur domains just gonna cancel itself (just maybe not instantly idk like enough time to get a hollow purple almost off cause u put all ur money on the line kinda cheap ngl)
    yk what I'm saying predict ur opponent putting 2 meter down cause they wouldn't win anyways and lower ur meter spent to keep ult/domain longer or play it safe and put an amount u think ur opponent can't possibly do cause u think they'll predict u
    also making size of domain multiply time of domain greatly (for more or less time and like 55 is normal) would also make interedstinhg

    option 5 would be perfect in my opinion if when you hit someone their ult bar goes down faster for each hit, and maybe if the more you hit someone else the more your ult bar increases/ slows down decreasing. this could be completely how hakaris ult works or and you won’t take damage until someone loses their ult bar to equal it out which i think is kind of boring OR both ult bar and damage deplete with each hit making it more risky to hit each other because you might get hit yourself. making this really a strategic game kind of how real domain clashes are in jjk. it’s like tug of war.

    Idea: both players are given symbols above their heads. The symbols? Heads and tails. After they get their symbols one of the two players will pull a comically large coin from behind their back and flip it. If its heads, the player with the heads symbol wins the domain clash and vice versa.

    Adding on to that last one, I think adding a button that lets you choose when to focus on clashing verses just letting your bar drain normally, would make it more strategic. Alongside it being whoever's bar drains first, it should also be whose barrier breaks first.
    The barriers should show how damaged they are, so the players know if they should focus on defending their barrier or not.
    Example:
    Sukuna's at 50% ult while Gojo is at 60%
    Sukuna lets Gojo break around 80% of his domain, so Gojo goes down to 20% ultimate while Sukuna is at 45%. Then, he starts focusing on breaking Gojo's domain, meaning he can destroy his barrier before his ultimate runs out.

    I got 2 ideas
    1. Button mashing: Both players would have to spam a button on their controller or keyboard, whoever clicks the button more in a limited amount of time would win the clash, If both players get the same amount of clicks then the domains either break(or both domains effects get used at once just not to the full extent)
    2. (Like in Dragon Ball Legends) You must time your tap and see who gets a higher number, the person with a higher number wins. If both players roll the same number the domains break(or once again share effects)

    here's my suggestions
    1. in a domain clash, the domain would be equally divided depending on how many people are involved in it and to completely take over the domain space you have to deal a fraction of your oppents health to completely take over the domain
    either 1/2, 1/3, or 1/4 of your opponents' current health
    2. this is just like the first one, but to make it more equal, everybody in the domain clash gains 50% health, from RCT or something like that
    3. Instead of gaining 50% health, the one with lower health gets a slight increase to all their stats like
    damage, lower cooldown time on their moves , etc
    4. my final suggestion is everyone gains a bar above their head the more damage you take the more the bar fills up but the bar isnt connected to the persons health so the people casting domains would essencially have the same ammont of health in a domain clash and when that bar is full thier domain collapses and the other person domain takes over

    An idea I had was the domain clashing system will be a tapping game like that one arcade game and every time you tap it become smaller and faster. It goes for nine rounds. Whoever misses first losses the clash. If they tie they both get brain damage and it removes the ability to regenerate health.

    here's my idea on how i would suggest adding domain clashes and possibly even simple domain.
    first, for domain clashes, i think it should go to a state where both domains co-exist with one-another. in this state, both domains can have a weakened effect of their normal sure-hit. hakari's effect is that he needs to use his moves 4 times to roll for jackpot, gojo's effect will only make you slower(along with your cooldowns and moves), sukuna's will have slower slashes and mahito's bar would go down slower. the players will fight in this state as the domain barrier closes in. after the domain barrier fully closes, the winner will have their domain come out on top depending on two reasons. did the most damage during the domain clash and who used the domain first. (damage during domain clash will have higher priority) the other people that didn't activate their domain do not count for the damage inside the domain clash.
    now for simple domains. when you use simple domain, there'll be a little domain expansion pop-up where you place a small simple domain where you are completely immune to the domain's sure hit effects. the user of the domain can use moves(except for moves like rush) to break this simple domain and when it's gone, it's well.. gone.

    the way domain clashing works is that the two domains are both going against each other (example being how sukuna uses malevolent shrine to break gojos domain from the outside by expanding its range)
    but to be honest i like the third suggestion more than this one since it adds an end goal ^^ (dealing enough damage to have your domain overtake the others)

    This is my suggestion for domain clashing so when two people use a domain at the same time they have to fight but using moves can be punishable because this domain clash u want to keep ur cursed energy so there will be a meter of ur cursed energy and a meter of ur enemys cursed energy and whoever has the most cursed energy in 1 minute will win the clash and if u lose all ur energy u will lose the clash immedietly and u want to fight because u probably used ur moves before the clash which drained it alittle bit and ur enemys energy could be higher and u want to fight to lower it u both have 250 health and also in this clash black flashes boost ur cursed energy they do need to make black flash m1s to complete this concept so yeah or they could just make it have no black flashes but it would be sick

    My idea(using other peoples ideas from the video): When two player starts the domain clash, the barriers of the domain will close, trapping other people inside, and a bar will appear at the side of the domain owners like mahito's domain, that increases when they deal damage to the owner of the other domain, when they succesfully deal damage, the bar will start to increase per damage, and will increase overtime after damage but will stop increasing when the caster starts to run away from the other caster, which will make the bar decrease. The idea is, the casters will have to fight and deal damage to each other until one of their bars fills completely, causing the win of the domain clash. But, if they deal damage and start running and increasing distance between them, the bar of the one who is running away will decrease completely, forcing both casters to fight closely.

If they dont fill it but are higher than thier opponet they get thier domain but the time is halfed. If they both fill the domains outright cancel out.

    to increase the size of the domain, you have to sacrifice your awakening bar, so you can't increase the domain to the max possible because the domain will end when your awakening is over, and the rest applies.

    I got by far the least interesting idea which is just to follow the source material, basically make it so that when a domain clash activated the inside will be half of say gojos domain and another part will be like sukunas, the idea is basically will have two parts one is where when you use your domain your damage will be reducted by 50% and the start uo will be a tiny bit longer thr goal is to deal like 20 or 30 dmage before the timer runs out if it does then it would be a waste of domains but if the damage is dealt your domain will win though you have to be fast due to the lower the timer the faster your domain will run out but if yu fight a sukuna it will be so that you will have to beat him before his domain breake your from the constant slashing but the sukuns will need to do my damage and have be nerfed by 55% there is a way to make you havr more time to win, if your not a sukuna you can configure your domain size the smaller your domain the linger it will take to break though it will take some of your ult bar normal wont cost any mode bar medoum will cost 15% and small will be 25% but nether of the domain clashers mode will go down also if no one wins the clash you lose all your mode and will do less damage and take more damge this also aplies to the loser of the domain clash also hakari's dmage will only be nerfed by 45% and wont have a longer move start up

    Here is a domain clash concept
    Upon clashing, both players are given a “shield” equal to 120% of their base HP. If this shield is depleted then they lose the clash. Each second spent in the domain also depletes this shield by around 3% meaning that the clash won’t last forever. Upon a clash being won, the winning domain lasts based on how much shield is left ( can be pretty short if it was a super close clash) while also being weakened more if it was a very close clash
    Certain moves will also spend your shield somewhat (varies) if used during the clash

    My idea was half and half domains, one part infinite void, the other part malevolent shrine. One part idle death gamble, the other self embodiment of perfection, etc. These half and half domains would have a nerved version of their effects. Whoevers side your standing on will cause that affect to happen, like being damaged by slashes at a nerfed damage level, or infinite void slowing you instead of freezing you.

    Osu mania 4k but, 1 person is the sender, the other one is the reciever. The person who used the domain first recieves the arrows and the person who used the domain second sends the arrows as kind of invading the domain. There would be a bar of the sender that continually decreases where each arrow they send removes some more of it, if the reciever succesfully pushes the button the sender does not get any bar back, if the reciever misses an arrow then the sender gets some of the bar back, it could be like the bar starts at %75 if the bar reaches %0 the reciever wins and if the bar reaches %100 the sender would win
    If 3 people or more were clashing 2 people could send arrows at the reciever at the same time so they are invading at the same time. But none of the invaders can use their domain if the reciever loses the clash so its not as op for people who team (or the second person could be another reciever and the third person could be a sender, idk.)

    I have a rather interesting idea, although i have no clue if its been said already
    Up to lets say 2 people (random number) can use their domain at the same time, it'll be a mix between the domains, lets say hakari's and mahito's. with each combination would be a unique sure hit effect, like this example which i've come up with one, when the two users use a domain at the same time, the hakari user has to gamble constantly to stay immune to the sure hit effect of the mahito's domain, the mahito's goal is to prevent them from being able to gamble. the winning condition would be hakari successfully getting his ult or the mahito preventing the hakari from gambling, causing him to die. The domains will also look somewhat unique from normal ones. Whoever meets the win condition overtakes the other's and it becomes their domain. I know it sounds kinda odd but i wanted to sound somewhat unique.

    My idea is:
    When people open their domains and start clashing, they start a short mini-game, in which the winner is decided by which conditions they choose, example:
    The domain is split in two parts, both do their parts but weaker, Hakari gambling is slower, Mahito bar runs out slower, or it does like 50% damage to the player. Gojo is slowing down opponents instead of freezing them, while Sukuna either has less slashes, or they do less hp. The conditions are probably one of the three: Weak barrier outside, strong inside; Decent inside, decent outside; Strong outside, weak inside. This way, if opponent chooses an inferior condition (weak outside breaks easily and the domain lasts less if opponent chosen strong outside.) then you win. As I said, their domain lasts a little bit before getting crushed if you win. If same conditions, then domains last as usual, and it is depending on who deal more damage. Decent outside, decent inside: will be considered the one in the middle (not literally, but conditionally) because it will last less, but still longer than inferior domains, and makes opponents domain last a bit less too. The same goes to more than 3 and more domains, but they are even weaker, and last even less than 2 domains.

    I think a kind of VS. Space Invaders would be fun for the domain clash. When both collide their domains, this minigame begins and whoever destroys the other first wins, if neither wins in 20 seconds it is canceled and the domains disappear. They can even add the detail of changing the color of the spaceship depending on your character: Gojo=Blue, Sukuna=Red, Hakari=Green, Mahito=Purple, Megumi=Dark Gray (Assuming he had his own domain). It's easy to understand and adds to the idea that the game isn't serious and is just for fun. I see it better than adding a Friday Night Funkin style game because not everyone is good at playing with that concept. (No, I'm not complaining that I have skill issue)

    My idea for it would be that there's a bar on the top of your screen, think friday night funkin' where it has both sides representing the players, hitting the other player fills up your side and vice versa. The bar will naturally revert to the middle to prevent runners. If you fill up the entire bar your domain wins and if you have more bar at the end of the timer then you also win, if the bar ends in the middle then the domain clash fails, like the 3 way one in the culling game. Maybe Hakari could get more points or smth cos he's stated to be better at tug of war and his domain is less potent then others so it would still be fair.     I feel like a add on to domain clashing is that the domain effects are weakened like gojo's domain only slowing down your attacks and movement speed, sukuna's slashes doing less damage, mahito's transfigure bar draining slower and hakari's scenario taking more moves to activate (I just realised this is in suggestion 1 idea 4)

    Here's a random idea I had for Gojo and Mahito; Domain + R; 0.2 Second Domain.
    To explain a concept for it; it is a domain that pops instantly, BUT is extremely nerfed, the way that Gojo's 0.2 second domain would work is blinding everyone for 3 seconds, and slowing their movement speed down by 25% for 5 seconds(as their senses were barely overloaded) and for Mahito, the domain would target one person, and depending on how far away they are, dealing a set amount of dmg, someone directly in your face would lose half their hp and one arm(like what happened to Todo) which cuts off 2 of their skills at random. This only working on one person.
    Upsides; the domain is instant
    downsides; the effects are greatly diminished, and the domain is STILL only a one time use.(Even possibly taking some of your meter to do it.)
    I hope this is a good idea, give me any balancing ideas please:D

    i genuinely hope it doesn't end as a rhythm game where you need to hit arrows, or a button mash session, i think it depending on which of the player do the most dmg makes it much more tense AND more fun, atleast i think its funnier than two of those options, and it brings more action to the scene cause you need to react in real time.
    I think the domain clash having both the effect of each domain also makes for some interesting results, like dismantle could activate your domain's special ability and gives you the tiny head-start in domain dominance and so on.
    Although they most likely will have to restrain you from using something like fuuga or hollow purple.. probably restrain you from most of your non-over powered moves.

    When two people domain clash, they can not use any technique, only hands (to compensate Sukuna's M1 become normal ones when in a Domain clash), whoever gets an exact number of hits in wins the domain clash, since more people can be inside the domain clash, there's also a threshold of damage that one can endure before their domain breaks, so it's manga accurate but it also has that randomness and fun of JJS, since you don't know who the people inside domain are going to jump to death or if they will interfere.
    In case of multiple people clashing domains, the one who wins that would be whoever gets more hits in before an certain timer, people that get themselves into the damage received limit automatically are disqualified from winning the clash, in case of all parties being disqualified bc receiving way too much damage then the barrier breaks with no winner.

    What I don’t like about the minigame ideas is that we’re not considering a public setting. While the domain owners are gaming, what are the other people dragged inside doing? Boxing you up.
    I’d rather opt for a domain threshold, a HP bar of sorts, where in the domain clash stage, HP cannot decrease, and any Hp that would decrease would instead lower or raise the threshold, the two sides belonging to each domain owner. If Sukuna is hit, his threshold lowers and Gojo’s raises, vice versa, and whoever has the highest threshold by the time the domain clash ends (the standard length of a domain), then their domain wins and takes effect.

    My idea is like an auction-
    Whoever is willing to give up more of their Health Points wins
    Highest bidder's HP will be reduced by the number they bid gradually through the duration of the domain
    For example if the winner has 75 HP and they bid 150 they will die halfway through their domain
    The idea is that if you push yourself too hard you will die faster in your own domain than the target
    Loser takes either lowered damage from their own bid or no damage at all
    Also this idea still works very well with 2+ people
    Draws should be exceedingly rare but it should either force you to bid higher in a 2nd round or the first domain user should take priority for taking the initiative, risking being interrupted

    Domain clash idea: tic tac toe with a time limit (something like 2.5 to 3 seconds), if it ends in a draw, then it results in the neutral domain merging seen near the start of the video

    Domain clashes should be treated as an effect, with the outcome determined by which domain is faster. The first one pops it up wins.

    I’m seeing a lot of complicated suggestions in the comments, but I doubt the devs would want to create a super complex system for essentially a battlegrounds game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I’ve also noticed that some people haven’t considered what would happen if more than 2 people domain clashed, so I came up with this lil idea to address this:
    Every player in the domain clash will have their domains’s effect halted, where the boundaries of their domains will act as a barrier to prevent outside interruption (excluding Megumi of course), and once a player achieves a certain damage threshold of damage (such as 30-50 dmg), that player wins and their domain’s effect overrides the others.

    Although I don’t know how I would make a domain clash mechanic, but I’d like to see a natural advantage of domains, example being that sukunas domain is larger than gojos by default. I don’t know how this would affect it but maybe Gojo would have a weaker domain against sukuna, but hakaris is more dependent on its ultimate but whatever

    i like the idea of chrystopher but instead of a minigame every hit u make in a domain u get a point and to tackle those hit and run player the points decrease at the same time so u can't just run after hitting them so it encourages them to fight and not be a runner probably like 5 every hit and this all happens in about 45 seconds

    So how the domain clash should work would take a few concepts
    1st: a faster ult drain whoevers ult drains out first loses with not being able to use abilitys for 10 seconds and cant gain any ult in 20 seconds the winner gets 35% ult back
    2nd:both domains fuse having both be weak as whoever has lower health and less awakening having there domain stronger against other people in there but weaker against the other domain users
    3rd:whoever dies first or loses ult first where each you deal damage they take more damage and lose some ult bar
    4th:you can decreasr the size of the domain depending on how much health you have in turn giving more ult but also removing a ton of space inside the clash but also weakening your domains effect from either 20%-85%
    These all could make it balanced so that its fair for everyone in the domain

    SUGGESTION FOR DOMAIN CLASH:
    Once the clash starts, a small minigame that lasts 15 seconds starts.
    The minigame is the two of you with two sword and in a pixely style.
    Whoever gets 5 hits first/ has the most hits wins.
    You can slash and block, that's it.
    If no one makes a move the domains will get cancelled.

    I have an idea but it'll only work with unlimited void and malevolent shrine it's basically Domain merging but gojo gets slashed losing a great amount of hp and sukuna gets bloodshot eyes losing some hp making it hard to see but sukuna can avoid that being close to the Gojo since the effect won't work if he's very close to the Gojo

    Here's my two cents I guess.
    Let there be multiple minigames (standardized between those involved in the clash) picked randomly or rolled from player choices, after the winner of the mini game is determined the ones who lost the domain clash will get refunded 60% (maybe more or less but a significant amount) of the energy they used
    They then have a set time (around 10 seconds maybe more or less) where their domains enter a collapsing state this collapsing state stops the winners domain from taking affect this is basically the losers of the clashes last chance to attack before the winner of the clash domains affect takes place
