How do you get your debuffs to show above your targets head?
With the addon "Buffhead"

how much renown you put into defensives normally?
I went with Dodge\disrupt x3 and chance to be crit x2. I dunno if its the way to go or not but that's what I have currently and for a long time now.
Just started a sorc, the self inflicted dmg is brutal. Does this get better via a tactic or some form of mitigation? Is it an issue for someone queuing solo at endgame?
Yea at lower lvl it hurt alot since your HP pool is very low. Your best friend will be those health potion. Trust me on that! Otherwise, you get some heal here and there from the rando which make it not so bad. Few BiS sorc doing it solo and doing good. Backlash is backlash you can't mitigate that!
Pro Tip: get the Troll Mushroom pocket item its not a life saver but it help a bit!
