Actually the tallest and biggest American flag is the one in Sheboygan Wisconsin off of Hwy 43 not far from my house. The flagpole is nearly 100 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty at 400 ft tall. The flag is 70 x 140 feet across. The flag is the world's largest free-flying American flag. And each stripe is over 5 feet high and each star nearly 3 feet across. The flag covers 9,800 sq ft and weighs 340 pounds!
True but from 1999 until the one in Wisconsin, this flag held that title.

Since we're now all about patriotism with President Trump now in charge, to instill more patriotic pride in the US he should order the construction of these very large flags and have them wave across key parts of the US like they do in Mexico with their monumental flags. It's actually way too big. They rarely ever fly it anymore because it's too difficult to maintain. It's said to be unmanageably heavy when it's soaked by rain. My dad lives right around the corner from it. I haven't seen it up on the pole in quite a while.
