I really blew God's call for the ministry 50 years ago when I was actually at Bible college to follow in my Dad's footsteps, and my eyes hastened to be in the world instead of studying. I even was given the option to come back in a year and begin again but I was too far gone following my own lusts.
I'm following His call now when I'm 72 being active finally working for Christ. Jesus never gave up on me.

Praise God! I look back at my reluctance and chasing my desires and now that I’m in a place of obedience (loosely said given my flesh) I would never say I wished I had listened, trusted and obeyed then because now I am so blessed way beyond what I thought I would have. I’ve seen so many people that had to go through long periods of time in their life for them to finally surrender after chasing what they thought was going to bring significance to their lives after they were shown the gospel. Praise God that he has you where you are now!

There are pastors that died at age 31, such as Henry Marytn, an English missionary who translated the Bible into Hindi and Farsi. He has a long-lasting legacy even when it seemed like his ministry was not winning many to Christ when he was alive.
You could have 20 more years of fruitful ministry in you, but only if this is what God's will is. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Thank you so much for this sermon. Recently, I asked myself, what the use was of speaking out when people clearly do not want to hear it. And forgetting completely that there is still a purpose in speaking to harden hearts.

Thank you so much for your videos. God put Jeremiah 2:2 on my heart this morning. I rededicated my life to Christ yesterday, prayerfully after months of God putting it on my heart. Today is a new day and God is good today yesterday and everyday🙌
Thank you for this message I cried and laughed at same time . This is my call my life. At 232 am Holy spirit said I need you to speak to my people . Speak to them again . ( you see I love to write ✍ what God gives me. But he's has lead me to speaking his word now. I was ordained in 1984 I had a long tedious journey and yes having a call like Jeremiah is not all sweet . You ❤ must really really love the Lord Jesus 🙏 and be faithful to his calling 📞 🙏 amen This message rang loud and clear in my spirit 🙏 pray for me I been through countless battles and it is not a call that bring money fortune or fame but it's the love of Christ Jesus inside of me that keeps me faithful and walking in his Truth and righteousness. Having to tell people repent or hydgement and destruction will come is not a very popular nor welcomed message 🙂. But I am encouraged ! For the Great I AM is with me to deliver me , even though they fight against me, they shall not prevail against me. Jeremiah is a part of God. God lives through him. God puts God's own words in our mouth. He sends us to be where we are in this world, he commands us to speak his words. He has made us prophets to nations. God is love and love is God. We are all one in God. He lives through us. That is what these words mean and the oneness is found in many schools of thought including quantum science.
There is a big difference between God work through us and being in us, and us being called "a part of God". That second idea isn't supported in the Bible. That being so we are amazingly privileged that when we become born again, Christ lives in us.
Yep this is exactly what I needed to hear. Started studying Jeremiah a few days ago. No idea how or why I felt the need to be in THIS book…. I see now 🥰🙏
I read It a few months. I had to read in bits and pieces because it was so sad and frustrating. 😅 I can imagine Jeremiah anger at those folks and how frustrating it was to have to keep repeating the same message. A message that the rejected , even when it came to pass .

I have to be honest, as a man who has been single his whole life and deeply struggled with loneliness I can't read the book of jeremiah. It discourages me so much because I always think I will die lonely like jeremiah did. Jeremiah was denied the joys and sorrows of his fellow man. I pray daily that God doesn't deny me these. It hurts badly.
We will all face deep sorrow at some point in our lives. We must all seek to draw our hearts close to Jesus. Your sadness is understandable, to be sure, but be encouraged to not allow it to define you and rule over you. If God has called yo to be single, then there are certain reasons for that, and according to how he wants to use you, it is better to be single.
Be encouraged to press deeply into God and into His word, and seek Him as to how he wants to use your life. When we are living out our reason for which He created us, we will have the most joy possible. Blessings as you seek Him.

Why in Jesus name does EVERY single minister of the scriptures, black, white, messianic Jew, SCREAM their message like we’re all deaf???? He could be much more effective if he could dial it back maybe speak in a still, small, sincere voice. “Let your gentleness be evident to all”. Philippians 4:5 I’ll pick up the transcripts of this and read quietly to save myself the anxiety. Wowza!!!
They speak in passion and it comes out loud. Whether quiet or loud, the effects of the precious Holy Spirit must touch the hearts of the listeners....and then there must be a response to that touch.

Acts 2:14 Peter lifted (raised) up his voice; Acts 4: 24 the disciples gathered in the house lifted up their voice to God in prayer - (God didn't mind one bit and He isn't deaf);
In John 7:37 we read that Jesus cried out to the people - the Greek word for cried (Gk. 2896) means to croak out (like a raven) or scream - or call aloud - shriek.
There are some preachers who seem to always be on full volume; others speak very quietly; others fluctuate in between.
Quietness in preaching doesn't always mean that God is moving. Nor does it mean God is always moving when a preacher yells out.
But those who are being led by the Holy Spirit will be used according to the ability of the speaker, not necessarily according to the listener's desire. Being more effective FOR GOD doesn't depend human personal preferences. It depends on how God wants to use the vessel. God is not limited to human understanding or preference or circumstance.
At times God spoke with thunderous voice to His servant, at another time He spoke in a still small voice.
What is more important is that we listen to God and seek to gain what we can via the earthen vessel He is using.

Jeremiah 31:31 will be happening soon. The hearts of the New Israel are being primed by the Most High. They will be ready to hear the message preparing the way. They just have to be willing to listen. Pray for wisdom and discernment to hear the truth and understand it’s message. Don’t turn it away when it appears too difficult to handle. Think of how the Pharisees and Sadducees treated John. Don’t be like them, ask God to soften your heart. Nothing is too difficult for God. Ask Him.
He is bringing judgment to America... on the way ! On the way ! On the way ! Ready ! Ready ! Ready ! Declares the Lord of hosts. Jeremiah 1 :11-12, Numbers 23 :19, Isaiah 55 :10-11, Habakkuk 2 :2-3. Same God, He does not change.
Ask for mercy not judgement

can people reject a call from GOD? my opinion is if it were a call from GOD, people can not reject, he is almighty. his will can not be void. before he call us, he already know we will accept or reject his command because he is almighty.
Pastore Lance replies - IF people could NOT reject God's call, then it could not properly be called a "call" - it would be a command or order. It's a call, precisely because it CAN be resisted. There is a branch of the church called Calvinism that says God wills everything that happens, and that if He does NOT will i9t, it does not happen. We do not believe that at Enduring Word. We believe God gives the ability to make real choices to human beings Love couldn't be real otherwise.
Can God still use me . I am confused about calling and ministry . Do i need to follow a man of God, Go to school or bible school. What is the proof that God has called me and i also feel like all thats hapoening in my life is in Gods will and i dont want to waste time
Pastor Lance replies - The calling of God can be discerned by BOTH an inner sense of calling, and the confirmation of others mature & wise believers. No, one does not NEED to follow another, but it can indeed be helpful and is suggested. Teh key is to find someonne who is a proven mature, wise, and fruitful follower of Jesus.
