Man when I still lived in Jersey, there was a group of us guys who would meet up once or twice a week in the evening at my oldest friend's barbershop. We would chop it up, have a few drinks, and play poker or ping pong. It was a great getaway from the stress and pressure of everyday life, and a way to stay balanced and blow off some steam. If I wasn't so far from my boys, I wouldn't have an ounce of shame about going to brunch so we could eat and chop it up!

First...thank you for acknowledging my comment King 😀. Second, eventhough this video was aimed at the "Bros", I as a woman, could take away some gems as well. I've always prided myself on being the type of partner that was a "safe space" for the guys i dated. They could cry in front of me, be held...(if they needed it) and etc...and i never saw it as "feminine." We have to do better with realizing that MEN need support too and it comes in different forms, based on the kind they need at that moment. At times they need space and they get their insight, fun, advice, healthy distractions and reality checks, from the Bros. Whereas with females i feel like they need nurturing, motivation, love, uplifting "you got this babe" phrases, etc...from their woman. You just have to reach a level of emotional maturity and self-awareness to be able to ask for it and not feel ashamed. Ladies, we can do better to listen to our men as well. And i mean just...LISTEN...not always respond! Sometimes, they just want a safe place to vent. Everyone can't be strong all the time and you can't pour from an empty vessel. Our friends are their to replenish us when we're running low and need that refill. Anyways im rambling...😂 I just really appreciate this platform and love these discussions. Another W video King 😊.

Damn it's like you're talking to me, I've been trying to handle my anger for a while now, I feel I've gotten a lot better but I still catch myself getting angry sometimes. I need to learn to forgive myself because I am doing a lot better but with those small setbacks I always judge myself too hard and feel like I have to start all over. So I have a roll of both a man and a woman. The bread winner and the homemaker. when it comes to daily life and raising a child. So I always have to have a straight face or be smiling. I have no time to date anymore between my career and my home life but I sometimes need that time out. My man suffers from combat PTSD, severe depression and anxiety, sometimes I have to get in the trenches with him, other times he needs time with his brothers independent of me, and I understand that is necessary for him to hold it together.
