- 5 things we love and 5 things we hate about our DIY Shuttle Bus conversion. Helpful tips to keep in mind when starting a bus conversion of your own.

Maybe try the child proof latches for drawers! It attaches on the inside and you push down the little plastic part at the lip of drawer to open each time but automatically fastens when you close it.
That was my very first thought. Those would be so easy to install and not a big deal when you want to open the drawers.
Nice video. You could do a video on your laundry day. Laundromat or by hand in the sink. You could do one on what you do on a rainy day. Playing board games. You too are cute together. Good dialogue with each other and are fun to watch. God bless you and keep you all safe and blessed. 💕👍

I came to write a random idea to help with the drawers, but now that I'm looking at the comments I'm not the only one who thought of it or said it! Magnets!
Number 5 get smaller chairs. I suggest some simple small stools with no back or very small back that don't fan out.
Have to say your Demonstration of number 5 the table and chairs was funny. I did get a good laugh out of it. I can see why you guys hate it but it looks good but I get it, its not very convenient.
As far as your drawers go, get those cheap simple child locks either the magnetic child locks or the kind you attach on the inside of the drawers to unlock the drawers will pull back just far enough to get you fingers in to push down the little hook to open the drawer. This type of child locks are very inexpensive easy to install once installed you can forget about them you don't ever have to lock your drawer up or forgot to lock up cause they always lock after you close the drawers. The magnetics are a little more money but its not much. At least with the child locks you can't see them and you don't have to bungie or tie back the drawers.
The child locks that hook on the inside once in stalled you don't have to do anything else. Magnetics you have to lock and unlock with the magnet so you have to make sure you locked them before traveling. Either type of child locks work very well I personally never used the magnetics but I've seen them in bus builds and the bus owners say they work very well. I have used the cheaper hook Lach child locks, they work very well they are cheap easy fix...

I would like to see a full tour of your build not the start to finish video. That video was hard to get a good look at all of your great work.

Get magnets for your drawers! Should be cheap and straight forward way to keep them shut.

I can see how much in love with each other you two are.
At number 3 of the things you hate: he had his head laying on your shoulders. He place his head on your shoulders so lovingly, gently and carrying its very sweet. Then at the beginning of number four. He kissed you on the back of your head, for no reason, except he just wanted too. He did it without even thinking about, he just did. Thats because he is always thinking of you. Thats because its become second nature to him, cause he love you so much. I can see he really loves his wife. He believes his wife is the most beautiful wonderful women in the world. Thats how a husband should looks at his wife.
And the way you looks at your husband is with so much love and Admiration. Your eye literally get bright and shine they light up when you look at her husband. It looks to me like you have a deep love and respect for your husband.
In your eyes he is the Man, no other can compair. Thats how a wife should look at her husband.
Not everyone finds their special someone. Some lose their special someone.
You guys are truly blessed to have found each other. You guys should always put each other first, treat each other like you would want to be treated. If you always do those 2 things you will have a strong successful, loving marriage.
Unfortunately at some point in your marriage. You will have hard times, Marriage its Not easy. That's why to have a good marriage you need to do those 2 things.
Marriage isn't selfishness its selfless. You always put your spouses needs first even above your own. Always be a giver, not a taker. If you're both giving putting the other one needs first. Then both of you, are getting your own needs met. Wife puts her husband's needs first, the husband put his wife's needs first, then you both are getting your needs met.
I hope that all made sense to you.
One more word of advise like I said all marriages have their troubles. Work through them, do not throw in the towel at the first signs of trouble do throw it all away to soon. So many people now days give up to easily on their marriages.
You have to work on a marriage to have a good marriage, they don't just happen.
You guys seem like a great couple, a great team with lots of love for each other. I would have to see you guys lose what you have.
Im a lot older then you both and I'm just trying to give you some sound advise from my years of experience.
I would like for you guys make it. Cause you seem like such nice people and couple.
Also sorry if I bored you with my long comment that wasn't my intention.
I think you two are a great couple. Im just trying to help you both to stay strong in your marriage. Take my advise or not thats up to you but I hope you will do those 2 things. I know it will help you with the future of your marriage.
Again, the 2 things for a good marriage.
1) put each other first about all others...
2) treat your spouse the way you would want to be treated....

I just found your channel ,watch two videos and I am hooked up to your channel .you earn a subscriber today .love the video editing and your simple and honest way of making it .one suggestion for future videos is that small videos how you cook in a bus and what to do and what to avoid.one suggestion for your sitting arrangements if possible make your both front bus seats rotatable that might solve one your sitting issues
We would totally love to actually see your best water saving dishwasher techniques 😄 We're still in the build process but every time I wash a dish at home, this crosses my mind.

You mentioned you would like video ideas. I was hoping you could do one on explaining exactly how you put in the gas struts on the window and made sure it all worked well etc. From your build video it looks like you have footage from when you put them in so you could edit that in that as you explained it. Some people don’t even realize the emergency windows could have those put in. The guy I bought my bus from thought the window might fall out when I asked if I could open it. Also, I’ve heard that the windows will pop off if you open it past 90 degree angle. Anyway I am hoping to put the gas struts in my windows, but I would love to see any tips you have! Thanks
you guys could ad another wooden plate with a hinge under the dinner table so you sit further back or on opposite sides of the table
Doing our first build for our ministry as a mobile shower. Loved the plumbing part which will be a huge deal. The first and following videos were both great. How’s the long term maintenance on a bus 😬. That’s my biggest concern.

You guys can get locks 🔒 for the doors.. every boat has them! Very cheap
You should put child locks on your drawers so they stay shut properly for you.

Trash can isn't too small, you're just consuming too many products that have wrapping / plastic etc
Things I'd like to see in future videos:
1 - Fighting a bear that has you trapped in your bus for a week because you dropped your keys when he chased you in to your bus on day 1 of your Yellowstone National Park trip...and you STILL hadn't done your laundry and things in the bus were getting desperate....and smelly.
2 - Take us on a typical grocery run. Start with how the list is made up and then how it gets destroyed when you get to the store and all the shelves are empty because of the Biden Recession and you're forced to survive on old catsup packets you find in one of your kitchen drawers until you make it to a state that's NOT run by a deranged Left Wing Lunatic who believes money and police are evil then whines to the government to give them more of both after their failed Marxist policies from 2020 & 2021 turned their state in to a hell hole.
3 - Take your bus to a truck stop car wash for a good pressure washing.
4 - How much do fuel prices vary from state to state that you've visited so far. And name the states.
5 - Visit an Alpaca farm and buy matching beanie hats with big pompoms on the top.
6 - Take us on a visit to the Auto Mechanic for an oil change and a tune up.
7 - Go parking lot skiing with the bus and those skateboards under the bed.
8 - Go to Colorado and visit Dragonman Ranch. Shoot all kinds of guns, drive tanks and other armored vehicles and just go nuts!
9 - Go to the closest Goodwill store, you each buy each other the most tackiest outfit you can find....without letting the other person see it...then you have to wear those outfits the entire next day no matter what you are doing.
10 - Ignore 1-9, turn off the camera and go to the movies. Give yourself a day off. You've earned it.
