the only thing I can think of as to why they do it is they have so much clothes in the back and they are just trying to give every item a chance to be on the floor first, which I think is stupid because it waste a lot of their time tagging and then pulling it a weeks later.

I'm fairly new to trying to sell clothing online. I did not know there was such a thing as pulling tags. Until I went to my local St Vincent de Paul thrift store on a Thursday. Thursday is when they give big discounts of 25% off military, medical employees, teachers and students. I went there one Thursday morning, and literally every pair of jeans except for two were gone!!!! I had just been there a few days before. There's no way they sold dozens and dozens of jeans and just a few days..
i'm seen at other goodwills first hand they pull the colors of the jeans specifically and change the color. I notice the jeans are NEVER on sale. so it's like they jump the color to make sure it's never on sale.

@@VIAGLO I love selling clothes. I love how much inventory I can hold in a small space. When it sells, I don’t mind packaging it to ship. Breakables are so nerve wrecking. It takes a long time to package and then it’s a hope and prayer that it gets to my buyer in the same condition it left. Plus bubble wrap is so expensive

Oh, and as another coffee lover who is working on their weight a bit, I really like mixing cold brew coffee with like half of a caramel or vanilla Premier protein shake over ice instead of creamer, then it keeps you feeling pretty full with the extra protein and tastes good too.

@VIAGLO I switched in March from one high stress FT job to another (and resale PT), so it has been kinda hard AF for me to stay consistent so just fluctuating in the same 10 lb range. Especially this summer with my kids out of school. But I'm making plans and setting goals, gotta keep on with it. We'll get there! 💛

The Goodwill in my area all of the same item is the same price. All kids clothes $1.99, all women's shirts $5.99 etc.
those seem reasonable.
I moved away from my Goodwill that always had amazing things & they weren’t marking things up it’s $4.99 for tops $7.99 for jackets etc. Welll I drove an hour back to thrift there & they must’ve got that crack from your Goodwill because they had things marked wayyyy up! A J. crew jacket $49.99 girl bye! I don’t understand why they think they need to jack up prices when they get everything for free smh

Hi I'm having trouble with the prices here in Phoenix Az area all goodwills are overpriced nice items are 10-18 dollars I have the bins but I'm close to the border so I compete with all the resellers that cross the boarder 😢Enzofinds

i'll be honest, since this location donates to the goodwill outlet I frequent, it's not really that bad 😅

GIRLLLL it's actually disgusting how people are.
It can be frustrating to thrift and make content but you come up short and it seems like time wasted. That part is life of a reseller and folks needs to see that but I like the idea of going to the bins and load so it compensates on days you come up short.

In the past few thrifting videos, you mention how much you dislike it and the waste of time it is. I can't speak for all viewers, of course, but I want to see content that is fun and informative, but that the vlogger enjoys putting out. Haul videos are great, but doesn't matter where the goods come from, IMO. I actually like seeing people at the bins, so that I can learn the approach and gain skills in sourcing that way, should I decide to go that route one day lol. Also, if it doesn't make sense for your business model to source at the expensive thrift stores, why do it? Seems like you're swimming upstream because you think viewers will be unhappy if you stop going to thrifts. I know nothing about being a content creator, but just wanted to encourage you to go with what works for you, your business and trust that the subs will be attracted to that. 💗
