whenever I match against a Darius during champ select, I always rush to watch this video.
What would you do if Darius walks with the wave, gets prio and does a 3 wave crash, making the wave bounce back to him when his jungler paths top? Do you try to contest with your life or do you just insta lose the lane?

i never get prio in this matchup i always feel like if darius has ghost and starts W there is nothing you can do if u walk up to the wave in most of my cases he will just pop ghost and run me down to tower what should i do differently?

Hey Alois, I have a question about Darius trading pattern. When he pulls riven, his e has an airborne for 1 second, and his q has a 0.75 wind up. Most of the darius players I go against in my elo uses their EQ very often to guarantee sustain and prio. What should I do in this scenario?
If he e and Q's instantly after, you should have a split second of time to E inwards or EQ outwards (depending on his movement) and getting out, it's just veru important to try and have most of your abilities up if he ever pulls you

If you let him get like 2 autos off, hes gonna press ghost and just run at you and stack his passive and you'll just die. You have to respect Darius level 1.
Really well explained but darius never play flash tp they always play flash ghost and this isnt the same story
watcthing this and seeing how much alois has grown both in quality of the content he makes and as a player is so amazing

I mean, I was Ok against this darius this match I died 6 times in the game because he got a double kill in the early and I survived with only 2 deaths in the laning phase with 8cs per minute, it's gold after all, buuuut he ended the game pretty fast because by the time I died 4 more times he already had 15 kills 2 drakes 3 items and a bunch of turrets, overall I played it nicely, got 2 kills, died way less then expected from a darius half item ahead, got 3 turrets by myself, was only 1 item behind him and 8cs per minute, I mean It's allright. Right?
in a first trade when he has no q if he had ghost he does that and u dead
basically darius doesnt have ghost which makes this matchup 10 times easier.
You think he wouldve beaten me on the all in windows if he had ghost? OR any trade timers where he couldve used his ghost?
so I am master Darius player, not exactly as good as your rank obviously. but in general if he has ghost he has more freedom on how he can use his E. without ghost he is forced to open with E to trade back. for example early in the video when you q3 on him with his bone plating up, he has 6 second window to punish you. if he has ghost up he can save his E for after your E on your retreat. without ghost you can freely short trade like you did in the video
@@lowkeygaming1860 Fair points, will try and revisit this guide once I get a better video against a Darius with Ghost. I do still think all the concepts I covered were usefull, same on how to approach any trade or all ins.
I think at level 3, even if he has ghost, I will probably win here, as I do have flash aswell
@@AloisNL Your tips are very informative and I like how you explain each interaction. They are good tips for laning regardless of the matchup. I just didn't like how it may give a false sense of this particular matchup to newer players since Darius 99% of the time runs ghost.
yes I agree in the level 3 as long as you dodge his Q you will win. But with ghost he can flash to reposition his Q, and then run back in with the movement speed. I think Darius wins if he is able to use his 5 stack bleed (which requires hitting Q) effectively by kiting with ghost and his longer auto range.
Since I'm kind of an experienced Riven player this is all pretty basic to me... Except the W to cancel auto, I think I do it instinctively but never really tought about it! Nice video mate 👏😉

dude u won because the darius was stupid enough to not pick up ghost and kite you. If both Riven and the Darius are really good mechanically, you can never guarantee to win vs Darius, it will always be really close (in slight favor of Darius imo)
Hmm I'd say in favor of riven if she's good. Most of darius damage comes from his outer Q, if that's denied Riven has enough damage to pop him before he can get 5 stacks
I get your point, but this arguement can be used for everything then "if both players play correctly nothing happens"
The whole point is to show Darius weaknesses, and also to see show you can setup all in windows, and force mistakes.
