I’m enjoying taking a break but keeping an eye on Stellar Crown. The new SIRs could be great with Terapagos, along with a Cinderace and Lapras. This set is also getting the IRs of Bulbasaur and Squirtle that match the Charmander Promo art from OF which will probably do really well.

Plus the sets aren’t even that great right now so I feel like I won’t miss out on much through August. Stellar might be good but I’ll see it when I see it. First of all, congrats on the 2nd baby!
As for investing I'm in kind of the middle. I collect, sell, and hold onto specific cards for long term. I sell cards I don't really care to keep, preferably after ive graded it. But I collect with the mindset of "If I wanted it at some point, someone else will as well". But I also have grail cards or cards I plan on keeping for a while. Best example would be my moonbreon. With grading fees and card price, I'm in about $400.

TM almost has to get a reprint it’s moving out fast.. I got TM for around 95 a box with the latest TT deal.. I have about 15 of JP 151 but I am really slowing down until Stellar crown….The last 2 sets I passed on cases at 540 (565) shipped no tax.. and I am regretting that.. but I just pulled another Perrin and to be honest if my cards come back as 10’s I’ve made money on what I’ve opened

LOL I’ve been haggling all night basically 600 is as good as it gets. It was just 570 with free ship yesterday I felt like… and I’m gonna do it because I believe that Greninja might be enough juice with the Eevee but I still don’t get the hype. 😂

We have gotten in the habit in this hobby to constantly wanting the new thing,new hype, new chase card.
This set is very very poor. Eevee is definitely fire 🔥 and the Greninja I get it if your in to graffiti art. I’m not and I thinks it’s ugly.
Others then that it’s a flop. I will be focusing on forgot sets that will make it through the rest of time. 😎

Twilight case at 570 or 600 is a tiny difference if you intend to hold for 5 years or longer…but it is different if you have other priorities. Also congrats man.

hard disagree-JP 151 has been reprinted into oblivion, it is gonna rise for sure but like vstar universe, it will take much longer and the magnitude wont be as big as expected

nah man don't fomo on a speculative investment like pokemon prioritize stability for your family.
I had plans of buying TM at 570 a case but assumed it would be steady for a month or two at least! So if it’s gonna keep rising it’s not just fomo but also just the reality maybe Pokémon won’t print into the ground ? Who knows but I need at least 1 case 😂
