Lobster Mac & Cheese
Ingredients:
2 Large Lobster Tails
2 cups of Elbow Macaroni Pasta
8 tbsp of Butter
1/3 cup of All Purpose Flour
3 cups of Whole Milk
1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
4 cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 cups of Gruyere Cheese
2 cups of Panko
1/4 cup of Parsley
2 tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning
Olive oil
Salt + Pepper
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Pasta: Cook the pasta slightly al dente, drizzle with olive oil and set aside.
3. Lobster: In another pot, bring water to a boil and add about 1/4th cup of salt and cook lobsters for 5 minutes or until 140 degrees. * Must be fully cooked. When it is done cooking, you can add it to a bowl of water with ice to cool it and stop cooking.
4. Cheese Sauce: In a pot, melt butter and slowly whisk in flour over medium heat and continue whisking for about 1 minute until bubbly and golden.
5. Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream until nice and smooth. Continue whisking until you see bubbles on the surface and then continue cooking and whisking for another 2 minutes. Whisk in salt and pepper.
6. Slowly add the shredded cheese and whisk until smooth. Add another two cups of shredded cheese and continue whisking until creamy and smooth.
7. Add the pasta to the cheese mixture, if the pan isn't large enough, add the pasta and cheese sauce into a bowl and mix well.
8. In a 4 quart baking dish, spray with non-stick olive oil and pour in your pasta.
9. In a pan add olive oil and Panko. Slowly stir until golden brown, add old bay seasoning for extra kick.
10. Cover the top of the Mac and cheese with crispy panko and bake for 15 minutes!
11. Top with fresh parsley as a garnish and Enjoy!
I did a “Mom’s Summer school “. Basically asked my kids what they would like to learn and do. Had them create a summer bucket list then we discussed as a family how we could accomplish most things on the list. Also during mom’s summer school I would add a couple of lessons that my kids had difficulty’s in school. Math , writing. Each kid is different .
I love this video!! Thank you Lauren !! Your garden, your chickens!! The dry veggies, The organization, and the amazing recipe of macaronis and cheese with lobsters !!! ❤❤ Thank you for sharing a piece of your life ! God bless you!
Getting the dehydrator is a game changer! I can preserve foods for 10-15 years if stored properly. Ive been dehydrating from our farm produce for 20 years. When you do your onions, take the dehydrator out side........Your family will thank you! : )
The way you love your chickens makes me so emotional lol ❤❤❤
Oh Lauren you make my day!!! So what do you do With all the eggs? Quiche anyone😃 When I started watching your channel a couple years ago, I thought oh no one will get me in the mood to decorate but I was wrong! You are incredible! By the way your garden looks great. Your family is lucky to have you.
Bonjour Lauren,
Just a suggestion; I,ve dehydrated tomato slices and ground them in my Ninja blender. It became a fine powder which I now store in a mason jar. When I need tomato paste, I simply add a bit of water to the amount of tomato powder I need and voilà; tomato paste:)
Girl your work outs are certainly working in your favor!! If no one else hasn’t noticed, I have!
Your new decor pieces look really pretty in your home.
OMG made the lobster mac n cheese. It was definitely one I will make again. ❤👏 Sending love from Rosie O🌹 from Devon England 🇬🇧
Hi Lauren. I have been watching your channel for a long time now and thoroughly enjoy your content. I like the dehydrator but I was gonna tell you to look into the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer! It’s a game changer for home spices and herbs and even fruits and veggies and some meats. Tons of CZcamsrs are advertising it and loving using it I’ve noticed. It doesn’t change the taste of the items you freeze dry where the dehydration process does. You can freeze dry then powder your garlic or onion or herbs or tomatoes and you have the perfect medium for whatever you need to cook with on hand. Anyway I just wanted to tell you about that product. I want one myself. They’re a bit pricey compared to the dehydrator but people are raving about the ability to save food in comparison to the dehydrator. Take care! Leslie-Alabama
Decor worked out perfect!!
Love all your tableware storage.
Oh Lauren that lobster Mac n cheese recipe looks amazing! I’ll definitely be making that recipe. Your pantry makeover with the chest for storage is a great idea. Reorganizing my pantry/kitchen storage is my next project. Where do you keep your food? Is there another pantry just for food storage? And I didn’t know that you were no longer a wine company executive. Enjoy your summer spent at home with your kiddos!
My kids are 5 & 9. They have a handful of 1/2 day camps. My kids do not sleep in - up by 7:15 am every day. They have breakfast, do their summer homework (45 min of math and reading), take dog on a quick walk, one hour of tablet time (apple setting shuts them off after one hour) while I do chores. Then, we go do something after lunch like a park, pool, splash pads, etc. They play outside a lot too riding bikes, basketball, soccer, play set, trampoline, play with neighbors, etc. At night, we have dinner together and go on a walk, pool, watch a family show in our outdoor living space, etc.
The lobster Mac and cheese looks so good.
If you are making powders you can turn them into a paste first. Then you smear them on parchment paper and after dehydrating you grind it up. Also, dehydrates faster.
Amazing the decor in the bathroom. Love the kitchen island
❤❤❤❤
I like to have the kids make a summer bucket list! Whenever I do my weekly planner, look over the list and add 1 thing from each kids list! I also do this around the holidays.
Hi Lauren, when my kids were small I wasnt working and we couldnt afford camps. However,we did utilize the church events, free park events and the kids favorite believe it or not,was the library events and classes. These things filled my kids summer for little to no money and the kids had a blast!
Love, love , love this video! I love to see you with your animals!! You are so loving and nurturing ❤.
I just love, love your channel. Such class. You have so much of EVERYTHING. Dehydrator is great to have.

Your videoes truely makes me so happy and relaxed! Thank you ❤
My favorite recipe yet. 😋 Thanks 🌸
Hey Lauren are you able to tell me we’re l could get a wooden riser tray with small wooden beads on it , you have one on your kitchen bench, thank you .🌷 when you make garlic bread next try using whole grain mustard , just spread your bread with butter then spread the whole grain mustard then heat trough in the oven 👍
Always content rich and interesting!
I, as a kid, either played with my friends, went swimming, or played something by myself. My two boys did the same thing. Maybe only allow them on their tablets an hour each day. You could play board games with them sometimes. If they go to friends' homes, ask their parents not to let them use the friends tablets.
HAPPY TUESDAY Lauren, family, and all the fur babies. GOLLY GEE get down with it Lauren. YOU ARE THAT MOM! I am not a home goods person. I am a Vintage/Thrifting for the hunt of the Treasures. But, I do like your boxes you get every month. WOW; that food looked DELISH; ALWAYS CHEF KISS... STTB

Technically for us ladies that start “ on time!” For holidays Christmas is 3 months away!! 😊
That looked delicious. I am starting to dehydrate things also. I think you can dehydrate eggs too. Grind into a powder and use them. God Bless.
Love your videos ❤
I hear you Yes! U start noticing “ more stuff” some will be traveling or stay w dad maybe grandma ( me)😊 for sure Noah w me. ❤❤❤ thanks for asking!!
Yay!
Hi I’m Breeann 😊I’m a stay at home mom 😂 😆 I feel like that was for a life group intro I just did 😂
Well anyways advice or ideas that we do is fun days a least two or three during the week. We do forts, we let the kids “spend the night in each others rooms” like a sleep over. We don’t let our kids stay the night anywhere because I’m just not ever going to be comfortable this day and age to allow them. We allow kids to stay but not
Stay anywhere else but family.
We also do movie days where we darkened the windows with sheets, movie. I make pretend tickets, i announce the movie. They get fake money to buy in like a fake concession stand and we buy dollar tree candy because you get those big boxed candies and it’s $1. We have a pool but it’s still fun to do splash pads and community pools near us here in AZ they have a bunch of water slides in the pools. Mornings we will do morning paint chalk (wet chalk) write scriptures for neighbors and just a hi and your needed. ❤
Just plain river times and camping we do every summer. ❤
oh to see allyour napkins no one can top that ppl think i have alot of cloth napkins placemats etc i have for each season hmph thats not too much and im not buying paper and throwing it away
I heard it's better to freeze dry greens than to dry them out.. keeps their color better.. just from watching CZcams.. Love yput videos !!!
That's a great idea!!! I'll try that!
Awesome 😎
Dehydrate vegetables and make vegetable powder. Interesting 🤔. The chickens are so pretty 😍
You should purchase canning jars. The baggies can change the taste.
My tomatoes ground up into a wonderful powder.
Wow, how busy, but very interesting.
Thanks for sharing.
The dish, U made, is sooo delicious.
God bless you, and enjoy.
😘🙏👍❤️🌹🌺🌟🌻✨💫✝️
Lol! We do the same thing with our girls when they are brooding, they will eat take a drink and go right back at it soooo stubborn😂
I use parchment paper in my dehydrator so it doesn’t stick
Those are big, beautiful chicken eggs!!!
Lauren so excited to dehydrate she left the price tag on her apron 😂
❤❤❤
How have you been doing with just 1 dishwasher?
Go over to Acre Home stead, Becky is the best for making dried herbs into powder.
Oh I'll check her out!! Thank you so much for the recommendation!
Hey ❤❤❤
Let her once!!
Oh, there arent any Autum and Halloween napkins in your cupboard. This cant be True🤔😂
Where are your earrings from?
