This was their opener for their Mayday tour in 2022, now they use Disciple for the ERROR tour this year.
Dany is 23 now, 22 when they did this concert, maybe 20 when they first recorded this. Z had been their concert opener until recently (actually, "Intro 404" precedes their stage entrance and segues into Z). They now segue into Disciple, which is a recommended see as well.
They are critical in general of the behavior brought on by the group think rabbit holes of the internet. This criticism goes back to their first album in 2017 when they were 12, 15 and 17.The song XXI Century Blood especially. They have talked quite candidly about their love/hate relationship with social media. and the internet in general.

I think it’s about not just blindly following trends and fads, hence the references to Kool-Aid kids (drinking the kool-aid) or the stupid Tide pod challenge, as well as criticizing things like participation awards. Their song Kool-Aid Kids is another satirical take on being “sheeple”, rather than having a mind of your own. 😎👍

2. the title of this song, "Z", is short for "GenZ" or "Generation Z"... they thought it to be "too much" so they shortened it to just "Z"...

TW have many influences, punk, metal, melodic rock, etc, then they have stuff that is so original such as _Money,_ we don't know what it is, but that's the magic of The Warning.⚡⚡⚡
TW is one of three bands on my bucket list along with Tool and Les Claypool. Rock on ladies, if you can get an old couch potato like me out of the house, you're doing something right!.

Not for or against gen Z. Just a warning to pay attention to the world around you and less attention to.people telling you how and what to think. The ladies are Gen Z themselves.

I would really enjoy seeing your reaction to some of the Alita You Tube videos from The Warnings Error Tour 2023 X Anniversary performance.
Forced to categorize TW, I find most of their songs fall into a territory between hard rock and soft metal, with occasional hints of punk and grunge. More was a nod to pop, but I hope they don't go much further in that direction. One grungy thing about them is that normally (VMA performances and such aside), they show up and play in street clothes, basically. Close they put on in the morning to wear all day that they could wear on a trip to the mall. They are just as down to earth as they can be.
Your ears are good but you need your eyes tested, Dany 30 as a first guess wow.
