Good advise on the burnout conversation. My friend that I used to Dj with had the same issue but he was taking a lot of jobs not fitting to his style. I did a couple of gigs at a mall with a lot of restrictions on what to play but it paid well. In the end it's better to do what you enjoy even if the pay is not so great but the crowd is. Have to have some balance
So I missed the live, bummer lots of good information as usual. Now, that question about keeping the music simple and boring was a good laugh.😅

Hello DJ TLM!!!🤗 I just wanted to make sure I left you a comment because I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you. I really wish I can have a 1 on 1 with you just to express my gratitude to you. You don’t know that you are my first DJ teacher my original DJ teacher in my eyes. I started teaching myself during the pandemic and started watching your videos from the beginning. I learned a lot from you after that. I knew I had to start going out to watch other DJs and get a feel of the crowd and the vibe so I can learn more. So far I’ve been DJing in small places and Bars in my city. I’m from The Bronx My DJ name is DJ Sweet.T. I really want to move forward with my DJ career but I would love to get more tips and advice directly from you if that’s possible.🤷🏽♀️ But, I really wanted to leave a message just to tell you how much I appreciate you. Thank You 🙏🏾💪🏾💯🎧🎼🫡
