The snare sounds very nice especially the high tuning. I always enjoy the drummers playing.
Was thinking of buying a mapex solidus black panther 14x7. But after checking this one out, and it being a collectors. The price difference 150-200 more, is not that bad. And I can get the quality of a dw collector. But it not being wood though makes me doubt a bit. But it just sounds amazing.
All tunings sound incredibly. Very Low tuning is thick n fat, and High is nice and crisp without sound obnoxiously thin. Satin finish is awesome!
Such a wonderful sounding snare. I have to have one. And the black satin just looks so sexy on it. Though I do wish DW was still offering a BNOB just for options.

Very low tuning is perfect! I just bought this snare and I really like to know how do you tune the top head to get this sound. All the tension rods are equal? Thank you very much and congratulations for the video and for the store!

One day please explain how you get that very low tuning, is the bottoms head tuned down also?
We don't usually change the tuning of the bottom head throughout the entire range. Maybe try adjusting how tight your snares are having them too tight will choke the drum. Hope this helps! - Carl
