- The Top 10 Lessons I’ve Learned in 10 Years of Full-Time Trader: It's been a wild ride over the past 12 years of trading, hustling and learning non-stop. As I get older, I feel this urge to share those trading lessons, especially to the newbies and young traders in the trading game.
Navigating in the market isn't easy, especially with the social media circus where 90% of what you see is FAKE! CZcams is a prime example, selling dreams of quick riches through scalping or some magic BOT promising consistent trading profits with just a click. Spoiler alert: it all takes TIME!
Without some PRO advice from someone who's been through everything, you'll likely end up wasting your time and hard-earned cash. In my opinion lesson 3 is the most valuable, when you don't want to lose any money you will pick a solid trade instead of taking random trades for a quick cash with your head in the clouds.

Today I was frustrated because I knew what XAU and Nas would do and what their direction would be, however I did not take the entries because it did not comply with my entry strategy, after seeing the movement and the RRR I felt the worst , then I watch this video and I understand that I prioritize something more important. Thank you Bern for always uploading the best content, which most closely resembles professionalism in this business.

The first point is correct and co-incidently this morning I was thinking the same before watching this video, that the most profitable and good trades I had was when I came to the charts immediately saw a candle trying to break out my support or resistance and took that trade and that's it. The more I started analysing the more I started predicting and the more the loosing streak.

Many try to over complicate reading every m1 Movement which doesn't make sense. They try to rename the actual strategies which are already on the market. Im new to the game but it also took me a bit to understand and distinguish all this things.

Ich hatte ganz schlimme Probleme die letzten Tage in meiner Challenge.
Ich habe das soooo oft geübt. In demo und live account. Mit prop firm regeln etc.
Aber jetzt mache ich alles was ich sonst nie mache. Overtrade weil ich zu früh BE gehe. Und zu früh schließe. Habe schlechte entries.
Am Risiko liegt es nicht. Das ist zw 0.25-0.5% … aber ich war zu aufgeregt und nervös.
Wenn ich set and forget gemacht hätte ich hätte die challenge schon.
Meine Analyse ist on Monat, Woche, Daily. Entry 4h 1h 30m.
Ich trade seit 5 Jahren mit Pausen wegen Kindern und Schwangerschaft.
Mein Problem ist mein EGO. I realised yesterday. I wanted to rush and beat the market. I had TP at 1:2 and 1:1 and thought it should hit more.
Ich bin mit meiner Challenge at BE gewinne und Verluste fast gleich.

Hard to swing trade on a futures prop account like topstep. They flatten every day all positions. But I’ll try your advice. Less is more.

I'm a profitable scalper with topstep and I've seen this guy speak with other profitable scalpers and find lots of common ground. He isn't saying scalping doesn't work he's just saying alot of the vids on CZcams advertise quick easy ways to profit and scalping is usually part if their strat because it appeals to people looking to make money fast.

But you habe 120 times passed the challenge how much was the Account size of this. You Must have by 120 times for example 100000 a funded amount of more than 12 Millionen that will be amazing . Bernd rarely goes below daily timeframe, if so it’s only to refine the entry. 15M and 4H is not his cup of tea. His trades are fundamental-based, technicals are only for proper entry position

I think you may be focusing your energy on the wrong thing. Don't concentrate on the technicals he teaches as I too think it's too over complicated as he has clearly tailored it to his mind and not others. Instead, focus on his mindset, attitude to the industry and the people he interviews as he actually has a lot of free, high quality knowledge to offer in other areas.
