  • Finnnaaaaalllllyyyyyy I have packed and organised my labour/hospital bags ready for baby number 2!!!!! I can't believe the time has come and it could be any day now until we meet our baby boy!!!!
    I am a second time mum and gave birth to my daughter in 2020 and now I am expecting a baby boy November 2021! So I feel like what I have packed is quite fresh in my mind and these are my essential/must have items for the hospital! I am starting to feel very anxious/nervous about the birth which is only natural! But I have also included some little home comforts in my bags for me and baby to hopefully make me feel relaxed and calm during labour. And OF COURSE!!!!! SNACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I am really hoping for an epidural again but have tried to pack and prepare myself for all options such as a c section, natural labour and induction. I know I've gone a bit OTT with pjs too haha a girl can never have too many comfy primark pjs surely?!!?!?!?

    Hi everyone thanks so much for watching I hope this video is helpful 🥰🥰🥰 I forgot to mention it in my intro but things like electrics, chargers, iPad, pillow, mouthwash, water bottle and money I have a list for ‘last minute’ items which we will grab before we leave. I use those things most days so not going to put them in my bag just yet!!! Also I totally forgot flip flops!!!!!!! If there’s anything else that I’ve forgotten feel free to let me know 🤣🤣😂 or is there anything you packed that you found useful in your hospital bag?!?!?!? Thanks so much 🥰💗💗💗💗💗 xxxxx

    First time mum here, 33 weeks now. Quick question, would I need to bring bottles and formula? No hospital bag videos are mentioning this and I feel abit confused about this.

    • @Thats_So_Kay
      @Thats_So_Kay  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi lovely!! Congratulations on your pregnancy I hope you are feeling okay! I think you can buy pre made formula bottles and can take them with you but there were women on my ward who just asked the midwives for formula and they would bring them formula for their babies 🥰 might be worth asking your hospital/birth suite what they do and if they give it you or not!!! Good luck with everything mama xx

    I really admire people that use hand sanatiser to change babys nappys as they are made from alcohol and babys skin are really sensitive and it can actually burn babys skin and it is not my stupid thinking but I know few people that regret using hand sanitiser before changing nappy because their babys were in so much pain and there skin was peeling off 😢 I know that all the babies are different but I wouldn’t dare my self to use it on my baby 👶🏼

      Hi Martyna! I hope you are having a nice morning 🥰 Really I have never heard of that happening - that is awful! thank you so much for making me aware!!! I had my first baby at the start of the pandemic so hand sanitizer has been absolutely everywhere and I never had a problem with it! Thanks for watching xx

      No need for the sarcasm. Think kay is well aware of what she is doing she has a very happy and healthy baby and she’s an amazing mum 😊👍🏼

    • @martyna_2021
      @martyna_2021 Před 2 lety

      @@millygrout9173 it is not a sarcasm. It’s what actually happened around me with few of my friends babies and I said that I admire people of doing it. I had a baby in pandemic as well and before I had her I was using hand sanitiser all the time but since having a baby I stopped using it knowing what could happen, one of the midwifes was not fired for no reason at my hospital, firstly she had no gloves and forget that she used hand sanitiser and she burned babies skin in different places including babys face. After parents complains she was fired and I didn’t said this in a rude way.

      @martyna_2021 Před 2 lety

      @@Thats_So_Kay don’t take it to your self of what I said. I didn’t wanted to sound rude. I just said this as there is a lot of people not knowing what could happen to babies skin after using hand sanitiser. I had a baby in pandemic as well and before having her I was using hand sanitiser all the time 😌

      @@Thats_So_Kay I'm sorry, but this is not even remotely true. High alcohol sanitisers are up all over hospitals for staff/patients/visitors to use, they've been up long before the pandemic and they'll remain up. Please don't listen to scare mongering. Your baby's adorable bottom will be fine!
