hello, may u help me? I installed cheat engine but then after I uninstalled it because of the malware warning. I uninstalled it and the other third apps quickly. However, my windows defender still warms be about malware in a location that does not exist. :( is it a bug from windows defender or should I be worried?
I downloaded it maybe a few days later i get a random ad pop up and started installing by itself ends up being weatherzero which is dangerous, you think its better to get ce through patreon?
Is the RAV installation official or bad? I really like CE but that ad was hard to see this time and I accidently installed it, which it won't Uninstall properly.

have you seen the tutorial?? just decline all the adware and that and you will get cheat engine with no viruses. also, probably your antivirus is going to detect CH as 'hacktool32' which is completely nromal because thats cheat engine.

Cheat Engine lets you manipulate applications including administrator level applications. It also allows you to load cheat tables you download from unchecked places. Those tables can range from simple address lists to lua scripts. The scripts with lua run with administrator level as well and can do anything an admin can do on your system. This is why some AV's get scared. And the installer might be adware yes. The term adware means "software that automatically displays or downloads advertising material such as banners or pop-ups when a user is online." so yeah. it's true. There is no Trojan or Spyware though, unless you mean Cheat Engine itself and run scripts by other people.
No, the patreon version download link is on patreon itself. And yes, the patreon version has no adware whatsoever (even though your AV may still say so, as a lot of them just look at the name and start screaming)

It's official. Just uninstall using their uninstaller first and don't forget to reboot.

i think the problem is that this program basically is something your defender wants to stop so that's why you cant do anything about that xD

I turned Real-Time Protection off and I still can't even execute the installer
Also disable reputation based protection. And anti cheats
