I love that you're doing these tournaments at home, it clearly has a different vibe (maybe because of the lack of scheduled production?) and... well... more RTS tournaments is unlikely to be a bad thing.
I really hope that they don't make BO3 the default ladder format. The main thing I like about battle aces is that I can quickly play it and not feel as upset if I lose as in a 30 min macro SC2 hame, for example. Making BO3 default would absolutely kill this. But I think having a "suggest rematch" option is okay, as long as you are allowed to decline.
I played the beta a bit and not sure it's for me but it's definitely fun to watch! Glad some highly skilled players are investing their time. Excited for the future. Edit - I mostly play fighting games these days, and the fun of betas and launch month reminds me of the best time for rts too. It's such a great time.

I really would love to see a tournament, that is designed to find the best possible deck+ unbeatable strategy (if it exists). The winner may not change his deck and must do the same strategy and the opponent is allowed to change deck, until a deck is beaten and replaced. Only 13000+mmr allowed (or something like that).
Love this! Game looks dope. And I’ve bounced off playing RTS a long time ago because it’s just too much to manage. This game looks like it might bring me back.

It is doable, I tested it with a newborn arrival during beta 😅 I think this is the best part of the game.
On average 5 min games means you can squeeze 6 games in 30 min it is really enjoyable !

as a mom this is my most favorite thing about it probably. knowing that a game is only 10 minutes max i know where i can squeeze them in!

it reminds me a lot of shoutcraft kings(RIP TB) and I love the idea at least while the game is being developed
The most likely scenario is that there exist 3 different decks that counter each other like rock paper scissors.
There are "Enforcers" in the Starcraft Campaign that look exactly like those Mammoths. That's why Gemini called them that!
