@@Trefalas you listen to Thunders of Darkness & don't hear the same quality of writing? the only problem i have is that it sounds like it was recorded in a studio, it sounds mass produced not personal. the relationship with the music/artist/recordings should sound personal like capturing apart of their soul. when it's so produced it sounds like you're capturing the soul of a digital machine rather than thee organic machine which is more important. imo.
Black metal by immortal is unique. Doesnt matter who is a member. Legacy of this band still lives on!
If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. Classic immortal sound in a modern environment once again. Can’t really go wrong with that. Great album.

That's why I think he decided to fire Abbath. Abbath started to lose it after At the Heart of Winter. He soaked in all the glory and the praise they got from the metal scene, started believing his own hype and tried to promote himself and the band as a bunch of humorous old craftsmen of black metal who love to fool around playing fun-loving heavy metal with a touch of black metal and make more memes than music regardless of what Demonaz and the other members considered Immortal to be as a whole.

Near 1988 i gived my audio cassette for writing Bathory album Blood fire death. After a few days I take it back but at home found it's not my cassette and bring it back. Guy in studio said me sorry, it was a mistake, another guy bring my cassette back with some words "Oh my God, I so much scared, but this is the very good music "😂😂😂😂😂. Since that times I love black metal! And Immortal ones from the best!

Nah, extreme Metal and Acid isn't a natural combo.
On the few times I messed around with that stuff - an experience, but not necessarily one I'd freely recommend - I found that more ambient and less intense music, with simpler, more repetitive beats worked better.

War against all is certainly one of Immortal's best albums, the energy distributed is undeniable, the catchy and cold titles follow one another to give way to unstoppable melodies and a technique worthy of the greatest, vocal power and growl de Démonaz reaches its peak and freezes your blood. Everything is connected by an incredible force that pulls the listener towards a state of auditory orgasm, it's been a long time since an album gave me so much pleasure in listening, the drums are just supernatural, the relentless double pedal strokes force you to break your neck along the 38 minutes of the disc. The last titles are grandiose and reminds how much the band's experience dominates the BM scene. We must salute and honor this reference album of black metal simply incredible and delicious to listen to for fans of the genre, which will ravage personal hi-fi systems for years!!! Never thought i’d actually enjoy a black metal album but finally, I have found one that i really enjoy. It’s not plain and it’s actually good quality!
Listen to Dissection - the somberlain album, and the Storm of the lights bane album. Classics, and very different to most black metal, it's more symphonic and technical but still raw.

Demonaz, this excels the last one tha was amazing. This one has many ambient moments that was missed in the last álbum. Immortal is immortal!
It's sad they parted their ways in such a bitter dispute, but fortunately, they are all equally talented and they keep making excellent albums. Good for them and for us!

This Brings, Back the early Immortal Albums which perfectly fits well, What a Good Northern Point From Darkness Cold Dark Snow Immortal is still a Great Band not a big fan, but the music is very unique and creative🙂😎💨😈🧊.
I was not a fan if these guys until Blizzard Beasts. Hooked ever since. The guitar work on that album blows me away to this day.
Thunders of Darkness has such a wicked vibe to it, that should be a strong live song. This album to me is even better than Northern Chaos Gods.
Some of the riffs remind me of "Tragedies Blow at Horizon".

The whole album has a very strong vibe with Abbath's solo album (in my opinion an underrated album). The instrumental "Nordlandhir" surprised me, it is one of the highlights of the album.

Ive always been an Immortal fan since I was a kid. I'm happy that after so many years Immortal finally back on track. This last two albums are one of the bests. And yes I do like albums w Abbath involved (even the late ones but not as much) but I think the last few albums were missing the key elements that makes them a proper Immortal album, now thanks to you we finally there again where Battle in the North should have continued instead of slowly slipping away from it. Thanks mate, I hope you are proud of yourself, you totally should. 10/10🔥

Superb work, listening to it took me on a journey back in time 17 years. A whole month lived in DRAMMEN (during a competition/horse race 1996) among forests, icy winds and scarlet skies, INDESCRIBABLE!!!!!!!!! 🤘😈🤘
