uSDR uSDX+ Plus V2 Review 10/15/17/20/30/40/60/80m 8 Band SDR All Mode HF SSB QRP Transceiver + 4000mAh Battery
Hello Guys, thanks for tuning in to my channel!
Spectral purity check using the TinySA spectrum analyzer: This is an output power and spectrum measurement of the new 2nd version of the Chinese uSDX-plus - labelled as uSDX+ SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIO.
Please check out the original work of DL2MAN
Spectral Purity measurement only on the classic HF Bands - done with a supply of 13.8V DC, and 50 Ohm (50W) dummy load . Current was not measured.

Well, that is interesting. It looks like the 2nd harmonics are generally low but certainly not as low as 50db below the fundamental. This may have been covered in the groups.io discussion. Still looks like an interesting radio. Oh, the temptation ;-) 73 de W8IJN

True, Nils. Thanks for checking it out. The o/p is definitely better than the "brick" model that Manuel tested and documented. This "plus" model falls within FCC requirements. I have given all the details in Watts and dB in the description of my other video (tests using a Tek 495P). 73.

Nils, forgot to mention.... I just now had a QSO with a station in Virginia on LSB 40m. He gave me a 57 report. He was running 600W. My audio was a bit muffled he said, but R5 copy. 73, DE VA3UMA

So many sellers. Hard to find a reputable reliable source.

Yes! There's always some risk involved.

That unit is within the requirements… but not all of them. I have the same model and mine was bad on 15m and above, so I had to redo the filter sections.

Thanks for checking out the video, Rodney! Off my head I'm not in a position to give you the details as it's been a while since I used it, and I do not want to give any inaccurate information. Sorry about that. There are many videos on YT illustrating the use of that VNA. It's very straightforward. If you can't get the help you are looking for, please let me know, and I'll do a quick "how to" YT video for you. 73, Prem.

I don't know how to analyze the data. After all, is this good or bad for radio?

For the money it's an okay radio.... especially for CW, and QRP. Nice and convenient features.

I've seen them on eBay and I believe it's also available from various vendors on Aliexpress.
