The FSE 250E is amazing. I've upgraded the carb, put the timing key upgrade on mine and it rips! Hands down the best trail bike available today. I've always been a XR250 guy and this bike is like a modern XR. Simple, reliable and fun. I can hang with any bike on the trails with this machine.

Very good review! I felt the same way about my 300 vs my 250e. The 250e is way overlooked!
That's a sweet track you use for the videos. They're capable for thier respective price point, but they don't scare me like a proper bike should.

Thanks for the review and info. I have a 2019 FSE 250R with a big bore kit, so it is like a mash up of these 2 bikes. I LOVE it for off road riding. It feels more comfortable (when standing) and more nimble than my 2015 WR 250F which feels cramped and more top heavy.
That thing is probably sweet with the big bore!
Now you just have to ditch those stock footpegs;)
Wait, an off brand chinese 250cc air cooled 4S that costs *more* than the brand new equivalent Honda CRf250F? In what universe?
I would take the FSE 250E any day over that 250f. If you put these bikes next to each other in real life you would see what I mean. There is no real comparison there at all. You don't want to know how many Chinese part are that overpriced CRF250F.
@@jimstout Plus the suspension is way better than the Honda, pretty much KTM level.
The gpx 250e also has 6 gears as opposed to the 5 gear box on the crf250f. Not to mention headlight, dash, etc.
The 300 two stroke is so much better
