A house is an investment for anyone it’s a safe place to increase your wealth. A house in Bruno’s world means not a lot certainly would keep him at Newcastle. I hope he stays but we have to have a better season next year to keep and attract players like Bruno

Sorry buying a house in Darras Hall or anywhere else does not necessarily tie him to the club. It is an indication he feels settled but not much more I’m afraid. If it were you or I spending money on a house is a massive commitment. Bruno earns enough to buy himself 4 or 5 of those expensive houses in Darras Hall if he chose to do so. So the commitment from him is much less than for mere normal folk. He could sell his house if he moved to Madrid. So I hope you are right and I am wrong. I think he will stay but my opinion is not based on his purchase of his house.
He could be buying a house to have investment tied up in property to potentially make money on and also for financial security too. I know players get alot of money but they have to invest because football can be a dangerous game and could lead to a very serious injury that causes a player to retire early. So it doesnt mean he is staying if anything it could mean the opposite as he could be preparing to leave and make sure he doesnt leave without having a luxury house in a 1st world country and somewhat semi stable housing market. I think theres nothing more to it than he has simply bought a house for financial reasons and thats the only reason. But thats just imo

I know that we here are all biased as Toon fans - but we paid £63m plus 10% of the sell-on fee. Since we signed him we have developed him considerably, gets many more goals that he has before, and is doing this in the PL. If we can afford to turn done bids re PSR, the fee has to be double what we paid, circa £130m. Arsenal can shell out £105m on an efficient but limited centre midfielder in Rice, whay can't they pay a bit more than that for a massive goalscorer who has 10 years left in his career.
