'Time to Celebrate Engineering' - A

Three former stars of the #greatbritishbakeoff (GBBO) have teamed up for the first time to engineer a unique, edible, clock cake. The “Time to Celebrate Engineering” cake is being unveiled on #NationalEngineeringDay - a nationwide celebration, led by the Royal Academy of Engineering, that aims to showcase the impact of engineering and inspire the next generation of engineers.
Rahul Mandal, Andrew Smyth and Giuseppe Dell’Anno - all hotshot bakers and real-life engineers - came together for the first time to create the jaw-dropping cake.

Help change public perceptions of engineering on 2 November 2022 for National Engineering Day and will focus this year on showcasing how engineering improves lives. National Engineering Day is a part of the This is Engineering campaign, with the aim of attracting public and media attention, sparking a conversation about what engineering really looks like and changing public perceptions of the profession.
