Each of Carly's (living) children has a different father. And Sonny's kids all have different mothers too. Ok, Sonny is the biological father of Morgan and Donna. Is Donna even still alive? (She's an infant, they could substitute a doll for her until after the pandemic.) What mother of an infant lets that baby out of her sight during the bonding period? (The baby isn't getting breast fed, she's never near her mother.) They don't even talk about Donna, nobody asks how the baby is doing, nothing. Carly is more concerned about her grandson Wiley than her own new born baby. At least Nelle was legally married to her baby's father, most soap opera characters can't say that. And switching her baby was the safest way to protect Wiley from Carly's clutches. The opportunity was providence. Because look at how Carly is treating her own children, would you want that woman near your kids? And poor Avery, she gets neglected all of the time too in that house.
