Eagle vs. cat standoff in Vancouver

- We’ve seen Godzilla vs King Kong, Gryffindor vs Slytherin, even Coke vs Pepsi. But now there’s a new showdown in town, Eagle vs Cat.
On March 4, East Vancouver resident Peter Davidson captured the unlikely encounter between Bruno the orange tabby and a bald eagle drinking from a puddle at the park.
While cats are known to stalk birds, Bruno was apparently more ambitious than most when he approached the wary bird of prey.
After a few tense minutes, Davidson said, the eagle flew off with Bruno chasing behind, perhaps claiming victory in the dust-up over a mud puddle.
Bird expert Rob Hope with the Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society says Bruno “wasn’t exactly the smartest cat on the block.”
If the encounter did escalate, he said, perhaps by the cat pouncing, the eagle would either flee or use its talons to protect itself, which "would have been not very pretty."

@@AARONwatson-mo8wo if its a battle in the ground the cat wins 100%,if the cat somehow spots a flying eagle diving towards it before it's too late,then i think if the cat menages to time a dodge considering their reflexes and reaction time,and maybe take the eagle in the ground while its close super close to land,but it's not easy to do so in a situation like that it's a 50/50.
