I just saw the podcast with Abhijit Chawda sir that was so amazing and eye opening but this one with devdutt sir feels so opposite of that, in this podcast devdutt sir is saying it is all myth ramayana, mahabharata but we have proofs like abhijit sir said we found Dwarka city under water as it is mentioned in our granths. Our legacy is so more than myths and lies.

You can watch Hindu academy channel to understand our dharma. Caution for the beginners is that don't take our puranas literally, they are symbolic stories. People who practise bhakti can read puranas, not rational thinkers.

I am an avid believer in my religion. And through your podcast, I have tried to cascade this knowledge about the astras, age of souls, Kedarnath, etc. information that you have brought to light. However, when I was discussing all this with a friend, he asked me if the Gods are so powerful and almighty and can do anything they want, then why did they create the human race or any other living being? Since then this question has struck in my mind and I have been trying to find that answer in any of your podcasts. Could you please raise this question in your upcoming podcast on spirituality?
I have the same question. And some weird theories on it too.
I always believed it was because
1. We are souls who have split away from the Gods, and must attain freedom from rebirth - by earning it.
2. (Krishna-based belief) The souls split away because we saw the Gods performing lila and wanted to be part of it.
My understanding is that we cannot say which of these came first, because in reality all of Time exists simultaneously, and even though I believe this I am in awe of it. 🙏

Not agreed with his thought process. Taking knowledge in other way from Ramayana and Mahabharata is good but how he can say God are not real. How he can say that Ram and Krishna are only vichar. Vicharo se Ramsetu nahi bana hai. Vicharo se Tulsidas ko Hanuman ji aur Shree Ram ke darshan nahi hue.
Well, one thing is for sure, you do not know who exactly built the Ramsetu or who wrote the Ramayana or Mahabharata because you were not there. These things have been mostly orally transferred through generations. If it helps you, use it, if it does not, throw it away and look for something else.
