- Take a 1910 journey to Rock Ferry then horse and Cart to the village and Lever Brothers factory.
Considering the Size of camera then the task filming this was an undertaking in its self.
The Wirral channel had a variety of Wirral Videos including, 'Hidden Wirral', ' Wirral Railways' and Sport. All filmed on the Wirral Peninsula.
The Peninsula includes towns such as

What were the 2 dislikers expecting? For once the description tells you exactly what you're getting and still people watch enough of it to be offended. I loved it. Part of my old stamping ground years before I was born. If I want to see it now I can just go to Streetview but this, this is like a time machine.
1910 was the year my nan was born and her family lived in and around Port Sunlight. I like to think her mum and dad could have been walking along one of these roads.

I wonder who all the people were on the many portrait paintings in the office. And how many young men and schoolboys didn't survive The Great War, or were wounded in it.

It's topical, lively, detailed, judicious and interesting. Cinematography was at its beginnings and the photographer has a lot of control of technique and presentation. Good stuff.
