I think this song about lovers from past lives finding eachother. But i think it can also apply to finding yourself. When you lose yourself and fall into depression and give up on your dreams and are just done with life. Then one day something clicks and you pull yourself out of that and you find yourself and you find happiness. Im in that place. Im happy alone. I spent a decade in a toxic relationship i lost myself. I am still not the same person hes long gone. But i have a clean conscience. And ive learned to put myself first. And i can be happy on my own something ive struggled with for a long time. Ive let go of the past and i dont need anyone else. I dont need anyones approval and i dont need to explain my actions to anyone. Ill also never fall over myself to try to please someone that doesn't appreciate me. And ill never put myself last ever again. I found happiness and hope and it was here all along i just had to focus on me.
