Youngjae. The year, 2020, has been horrible for most, if not all people around the world because of all of the unfortunate events that seemed to just keep piling on to one another. However, I will say, one of the best things to happen to me occurred that year, and that was my introduction to Got7. Despite having gone through a lot, I am so lucky to have been able to discover Got7 as a group, as well as you individually. In January of 2020, I officially became an Aghase, and I tried my best to learn about everything that Got7 has done so far. I watched music videos, listened to albums, and watched as many of the reality shows that I could to get to know the group better. Through my mere months that I’ve associated with the group, I have come to know so much about you and all of the sheer joy and laughter that you bring to the world. I have seen how you’ve grown from your debut to now, and what I love about you is that you have remained the same upbeat, positive, and funny, and heartfelt Youngjae that you were years ago. Despite growing up and maturing with each experience with Got7 and by yourself, you have never lost your spirit in a time when it is very easy for it to be taken away from you. I have seen first-hand, in only a matter of months, how much fun you have when you’re with your members, and have naturally genuine you are to everybody that you come in contact with. I also know that you have a professional side that charms everybody and makes you so admirable and lovable. I witnessed all of the hard work that you have put into all of your songs and choreographies that you’ve done with Got7. However, I was absolutely shocked to see your hand in creating so many songs on your own, whether that be songwriting, producing, or just participating in songs. You have such a soulful voice that moves me to tears, and I can feel every emotion that is poured out into every word that you articulate. You are an indescribable singer and musician overall. Not only can you sing, but your are an outstanding dancer, and have such an inviting and fun presence on stage that makes it such a pleasure to watch you. I have loved every moment of getting to know you although it’s only been a small amount of time. I have learned so much and spent so much time falling in love with you character, and I hope you know how sweet and impactful you are as a human being. I hope that you never give up what you bring to Got7, and I can see how much your members always want you in their company. You are so loved and valued by them and have left such a lasting imprint on Got7 with all of the actions that you take to ensure you all advance as a team. It’s already been over seven years, and every single day since debut you are loved even more with every second by them, and I am absolutely sure they appreciate every precious moment spent with you. You warm Aghase’s hearts in a way that nobody else can, and I have loved becoming part of the family that has supported you unconditionally for the entirety of Got7’s existence. I can see so much why you are so praised and needed among the Aghases, and I can now say that I am one of them who loves you and what you do for us so much! I wish we could repay all of the love you have shown us through every obstacle and beautiful time that Aghase and Got7 have spent with one another. I know your parents and family are proud of you more than anything else, and I want to thank them personally for raising such a well-mannered, generous young man! On this great day, I want to say to you, Youngjae, that I hope that you have the best, most enjoyable, fun, and loving birthday that you could possibly have. Not just today, but everyday for the rest of your life, I hope that you, your friends, and your family have nothing but happiness and positivity surrounding them in everything that they do. I have watched you bring together your members and establish a connection among them when GOT7 was just debuting. Even when everyone was still getting used to one another, you made the environment feel as if you’d known each other for years, making everyone more comfortable with one another. I have watched you be absolutely sweet to your fans and supporters, and go above and beyond just to show them even the smallest token of appreciation. I watched you work so hard and grow from these long years that you have been an idol. You are such a talented musician with a voice of depth and emotion; and with dancing skills that are natural and express who you are. You are incomparable to others on stage and have a lasting presence on your audience no matter if you rap, sing, or dance. Although you have evolved as a musician, your personality and generosity have remained the same. Like I said before, although I have only been an Aghase for about a couple of years, all it has taken is your music and the fans for me to already quickly understand the your legacy and the courtesy that you have demonstrated for your entire career. I have come to know that you have gone through so much; both individually and with your members, and yet, you still remain such a ray of hope for so many people. I never realized how many people looked up to you until I started to become more enhanced by your admirable charms. The word inspiration doesn’t even come to close to what you are for so many people in this world. You have created a reason for people to change, better themselves, and most importantly, never give up on hope in a time when they need it most. You are so humble, and there is nothing more honorable than the way that you present yourself. Even though I wish I could have become an Aghase sooner, I hope that you know my love for you is just as strong as those who have been there since GOT7’s debut. I hope that you can understand how needed and motivational you are for millions. Mark, we are so proud of you, and we appreciate you more than you could ever know. I pray that you never give up the natural kindness that is instilled in you and guides your decisions. Aghase will never leave you. We will always support you. These dance practices and just the hilarious interactions between the group used to get me through some very hard days and I am SO grateful to them.
BamBam. It was your smile and goofiness that I first experienced, but really it was your your creativity in music that caused me to stay and learn more about you. I love your voice because when you rap, it is so calm and collected. If this makes sense, even when you take on more aggressive raps, there is a soothing sound to your voice that makes them even easier to listen to. It never sounds the same in any two songs and because you can add so much freshness to each track, your Aghase eagerly look forward to hearing what you are going to bring to your music next. I also believe that you are somebody who can rap with so much feeling and passion. You can embody an entire mood with only a few lines.The same can be said about your singing. You have such a soft and beautiful voice that adds a lightness and a boldness to each song. It is so nice to be able to hear you interact with the singing side of your vocal ability, because there is so much you can share when you do. At the same time, you are one of the most energetic dancers that I’ve come to know. You can move your body in ways that I’ve never seen another move before; and this is so exciting to see given the type of choreographies that you’ve mastered before. You add so much depth and meaning to each little gesture and each little movement to leave a lasting impression and memory for your Aghase. Your moves are always accurate and powerful, but you leave so much room for your own personal expression as well. The face of music today would be so different and it would lack the addition of your artistry. You are changing the way the world views performance and music each day that you present your creativity to the world. In the same way that I love how you bring your music to this world, I love that you share your personality all the same. One of the first qualities that I noticed you had was how sociable you were. You’re always so quick to make friends, or at least show your respect for those who you come in contact with. I also love how funny you are. Your type of humor is so amusing because you are always funny when anyone least expects it. Even when you mean to be serious you end up making somebody laugh, and it is so contagious. Nobody knows these sides of you better than your members, however. I know that since the very beginning of Got7, you all have been so comfortable with one another. Before you even debuted, you held a special place in your heart for each of your members, and to this day they change for the better because of you. You’ve believed in them throughout your entire journey and that is the greatest way to show somebody that you genuinely care for them. You’ve been there for them in every way that they’ve needed you to be since you met them. You found a way to bring the seven of you together so that you could create a dynamic synergy that the world knows and loves. You have such a special relationship with each member and I’ve gotten so emotional seeing how each of them can speak about what you’ve meant to them. Now they have somebody who can be there for them for the rest of their lives. You are encouraging and motivational for them when you don’t even realize it. I know that Yugyeom specifically is close to you and sees all of the qualities that make you the greatest friend ever, but all of your members can find a brother in you as well. You are their family. Your members can be become the greatest versions of themselves because of the love and faith that you’ve placed in them. You see their potential when they don’t even see it, so they can believe in themselves because of you.
