  • In this video I will be briefly showing you my journey on restoring this wrecked 2003 G35x during the pandemic at home in my garage. This project took me about 3 months to complete. It's not completely finished but its super close. I used Eastwood paint and supplies to do this project and have listed the link below. If you want to see more of this car and other projects I have done at home go see my instagram page, I have listed the link below. If you have any questions feel free to ask, like and subscribe and see more projects and builds.

      @@tdtgarage1697 What problems bro? I already changed the entire front end suspension on mine, im talkin bout everything, even hubs. Only thing I didn't change was the knuckle 😂 I went with poly compression rod bushings and made a big difference.

      @@chrisd5758 it was hit in the front end. I’ve put a new cradle, compression arm. I’ve got new upper control arms and also going to put lower arm and knuckle. The wheel base is off so it needs to be pulled. I already pulled once but wanted to replace everything before pulling again

      @@tdtgarage1697 dang man if I saw the frame was messed up i'd give up. I got the lower control arms from ebay for like 120 for both with the balljoint for the sway bar and so far so good, the old bushings were basically non-existent they fell right out when I took out the old arm, now that I think about it I should have just gotten the ES poly bushing for it but I really wanted the new ball joint for the sway bar so I decided to get them off ebay with it.

      @@tdtgarage1697 also I heard that the stock bushing on the compression rod is prone to make noises and stuff even if its new, the ES poly bushing for the rwd fits it perfectly and eliminates any noises and stiffens it up a tiny bit.

    On a g35x awd having different wheel sizes ,mess up the transmission?

    • @tdtgarage1697
      @tdtgarage1697  Před 3 lety +2

      Yeah on any awd vehicle you want to run the same diameter tire and wheel size. The width can be different.

    yo what wheels are those called? I got an 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan as well! I was wondering where did you get the white pearl paint from

    • @tdtgarage1697
      @tdtgarage1697  Před 3 lety +2

      Wheels are xxr 530d. And the paint is actually Pure white. That’s why it’s so bright. No pearl.
