      Thank you very much. Sorry for the great ammount of grammar mistakes. It's something I need to work on.
      In Portugal we are used to learn different languages since we are young. Also, we have a lot of movies in English, so that helps as well :)

    First I must say your English speaking skills are very very good! Thank you for taking the time to do the work using a second language. I test rode this bike and would have loved to be able to take it on the poor roads that you did as that is what I'm going to use it for. Even not being able to test it on those types of roads I loved it so much I ordered on up for myself. Thanks again.

      Thank you so much, but the grammar was just terrible. I must an effort to improve that.
      That's a good point you are focusing, the real use, the daily use. Many people make test-drives but forget to take them to real life situations such as traffic, for example. Or simply they don't have the change, which seems to be your case.
      Thank you so much for visiting this channel and many congrats on purchasing a magnificent machine. :)

    I truly appreciate your effort with the English video. You did a good job. I've been a Moto Guzzi owner since 1975 and have a deposit on this bike. I am pleased with your impression of this new Moto Guzzi and I am sold after many reviews I've watched. You gave a positive and good review that confirmed my desire for my V85 TT which I will pick up this week. 07/19/19.

    Your English is just fine! I found it funny how you are emphatic regarding the looks of this bike by saying you just don’t like the looks whatsoever. Then you proceed to go from front to the back of the bike pointing out all of the very nice design elements you find. So my question is do you like the design and looks or not?

    I was told, a long long time ago, that you can keep your feet on the footpeg when stopped at a red light just by playing with the vertical angle of the Moto Gizzi & the accelerator. Supposedly it has to do with the centrifugal force developed by that "V" cylinders configuration. Can anybody confirm or contradict that story ??? Thanks

    Thank you for the english review of this bike, and enjoyed your authentic reactions to riding. I'm considering the V85TT or the KTM790 Adventure. Thoughts? I'm 70% commuting, 20% touring, 10% off-road.

    • @ExContinentalAzores
      @ExContinentalAzores  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi there Kyle. I'm so sorry for this late reply.
      That's a difficult question and a very personal one.
      One thing is for sure. Please do test ride them both. Only you can tell the best choice.
      The V85, honestly, I did not like it on the corners. It's because of that engine type, plus the Cardam. So people love it, I personally don't appreciate.
      On the other hand, the 790 have had some issues regarding oil leaks on the engine among other issues. So it's very important to know your KTM agent/dealer, on your city. If it's any good, they will fix those problems. If not, runaway from it.
      Also, the 790, I did not like to engine & exhaust sound. It's typical KTM.
      Those were the flaws I found on both bikes. Other than that, they are amazing motorcycles, but as I said before, only you can say which one is perfect for you.
      Because of your style, your height, your way of thinking and personal tastes.
      Hope I helped.
      Cheers mate, from the Azores islands

      @@ExContinentalAzores thanks for the reply and no worries! I'm finding your video a year later anyhow!
      Those were my thoughts exactly after test riding both. KTM is so smooth and refined, great in corners but had a more buzzing sound rather than a rumble. And the features on the latest Travel V85TT are such a deal.
      For me, think I'm going V85TT. Thanks for you videos! You've got another subscriber.

      It's a very difficult and hard work for me to always do in 2 languages. Also very time consuming.
      However, I understand the frustration when you receive a notification that a new video has been released, and then you realize it's just another one in Portuguese. :(
      I have made the decision, I'll create a second channel, only in English, once I hit the 1000 Subs. It should be pretty close since I only need more 123 :D
      Nevertheless, I want to thank you to put this kind of pressure and make this appeal.

      Ahahah. Not at all.
      In Portugal, we do have a significant motovlogger community. However, in the region of the Azores islands, I'm pretty much the only one. So that was one of the purposes of this channel. To show not only motorcycle related content, but also, the landscapes of these islands.
      Unfortunately, it's very hard for me to do always Portuguese and English vídeos. It's very time consuming since I pass a lot of time, on the computer editing (one thing that Cager on 2 wheels does not).
      Also, I do have a lot of English speaking subscribers, and it's a shame when they get a notification of a new video on the channel, and the video is in Portuguese. So I have created an English channel only. If you are interested, please check the link below :)

    • @ExContinentalAzores
      @ExContinentalAzores  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi there. Well I was surprised because before this one, I also tested the Griso. That one I felt the vibrations. Not on the handlebar but the engine it self. In the V85, the engine was in fact really smooth. They have done it. But the high gravity center, for me is still a problem. Specially in cornering

    • @OtterFlash
      @OtterFlash Před 5 lety +1

      @@ExContinentalAzores I own two Guzzi's and the V85tt vibrates significantly less than either my V7 or my Stelvio, I don't have any other brands to compare it to. The V85tt carries it's weight much better than the Stelvio in my opinion and since I ride the Stelvio a lot the V85tt did not feel top heavy to me, it comes down to what you are used to I guess.
