    We had a tornado hit our house in the middle of the night in 1991. Scariest night of my life. I’ll never forget the sound and the negative pressure. So thankful we survived. The house and barn weren’t as lucky.

    • @bellak46
      @bellak46 Před 3 lety +18

      There is nothing like that negative pressure feeling. I grew up in Oklahoma and have experienced countless tornadoes. There is nothing to even describe the feeling of a room when a tornado passes. It goes silent and the air is all sucked out of the room. Feels like it last forever when it’s only a few minutes. So scary.

      samantha morrow it’s crazy here! Oklahoma can get anywhere from 18-56 tornadoes in the month of May alone. Last year we had over 100 tornado watches, warnings and actual tornadoes that touched down. This year we didn’t have many thankfully, but storm season can get crazy scary here.

    Last year in March we had a major storm, my mom and sister were in the car stuck under a tree by my neighbors, me and my grandma were sitting in the living room corner and it wasn’t that bad yet until boom lighting hit the Second biggest tree in are yard, it just barely missed the house by an inch and it was so loud and I was so scared bc we couldn’t get to our basement. This tree streches across our longg yard I mean are yard is huge and it went over the creek into our landing and into our neighbors yard. That was one of the scariest moments of my life that. I remember besides the tornados that happens on my birthday. We also live on a lake so we see all the water come out of the lake and we have to go outside to get to our basement and it is super scary.
