I'm a server/bartender. The large gas station company that owns us had a couple of higher ups from a beach bar come in. The one that has been working with me didn't hire me on an interview with the beach bar. He's already offered me a job at the other place he works at and appreciates my work ethics. I'm quite sure he remembers me from the other interview, and feels bad that he didn't hire me on the spot. This reading d3finitely makes sense.
