In South Africa we have “Baby on Board” plastic triangles on a suction cup you put up in the back window. Easy to then remove when baby is whole ass kid. And easy to take with in a different car if you need to. They’re meant to be for paramedics to look for the baby first if there’s a car accident.
I had already listened to the podcast when it came out, but I came here specifically to watch Jess' sound effect face AND comment about how hard that last insight hit me. I also felt awful about being the absolutely Worst Person when I was on vacation with my parents when I was younger, absent and cantankerous because I didn't want to be there. Thanks for that, Caroline ♥

I wish there was more commentary out there about the Catholic school girl culture reflections. Outside of 'Lady Bird' movie and 'Derry Girls' BBC TV show, there is not all that much depiction in modern times. Gap boxers under the kilt is the way to go, though I find it highly weird that a school regulated what you wore under your kilt when elsewhere it's entirely preference.

When I drove with my baby it made since to me as a warning to others that I was going to be a fucking mess on the roads. Sleepless. Tired. Baby crying. There’s a baby on board stay back a ways for your own safety.
The “ Baby on Board” signs started as a signal for paramedics, in case of a car accident. Letting them know there’s a baby who may need medical attention first.

I haven't even watched this video yet, and just seeing "couples on the same side of the table" immediately passed me off. Hard no. Unless you're in high school, knock it off. That's what benches are for, go sit on a bench.
