    This looks really good! Thank you for getting to the point and showing the process!
    I lost hope after finding so many "tutorial videos" on CZcams that only show 1 minute of crib painting yet 9 minutes of kids playing, mom's make up routine etc. And don't even showed the final product!
    So Thank you for not doing that! 🥰

    It looks like a brand new crib. I’m glad I watched this. Now I know what steps to take so I can paint my baby’s crib if I want to change the color later.

    Did you use a top coat sealer? And is this paint non toxic and baby safe? I know baby’s like to chew on the crib. Thank you

      No I don’t think I did, just low VOC paint, definitely safe for babies if they bite. But my sons already old enough to not bite :)

    Is this safe if my baby chews on the crib?

    • @emilyirene2806

      Yes! BEHR designed their Premium Plus paint range for durability, with long-lasting color that can withstand years of messy playtime in your baby's nursery. This crib paint is non-toxic, VOC-free, and GREENGUARD-certified for low chemical emissions

    Great video. Can you please put in the description what materials did you use especially paint?

      Ya. No worries. I figured putting it in the video was easy enough since I rarely am a “vlogger”

    Hi ..what paint did you use ...and does it contain lead?

    • @emilyirene2806
      @emilyirene2806  Před rokem

      No paint these days contains lead :) it’s off the shelf white paint + primer ! Safe for kids. Low VOC I believe it’s called now and days. Cant say how it’s held up because I sold it shortly after

    Nicely done! Can I spray paint instead of painting?

    • @emilyirene2806
      @emilyirene2806  Před 4 lety

      As long as it’s kid friendly !

    Thanks so much for the tutorial! I have almost the same color crib that I'm painting white. A few questions if you don't mind?
    1. How do you know when you've "sanded enough?"
    2. Are the two coats keeping well for you so far? No chips/cracks? I see that you didn't use Primer.
    3. Was 450ml of paint just enough? Or did you have more left over? I'm guessing that my crib is slightly bigger.
    Thanks so much!

    • @emilyirene2806
      @emilyirene2806  Před 4 lety +1

      1. I sand it enough to see if the gloss came off and enough to get the new paint to stick.
      2. I have sold the crib with new looking conditions, so I’m not sure how it looks now, but as far as I know and when I had it, two coats were perfect, primer was included in the paint as well. So that was a plus.
      3. This crib was the most standard size crib, I don’t think they get any bigger than that unless you just have more wood to paint but the paint I had, I had well enough paint to do a 3rd coat maybe.
      Hope this helps ! Sorry for the late reply

      @@ld7021 the cheapest I found, it’s in the video. Pause it and see :) I sold the crib a long time ago so I’m not sure how well it holds up but it’s low VOC which is good for kids
