i'm from the us. I checked that website for an IAC, no part found. which is weird considering I have the same engine as your mothers camry in my mr2. I usually order from amazon, and it's $180 shipped! luckily I don't need to replace an IAC b/c all I did was spray it with carb cleaner and reset ECU. car works like new now. most people forget to reset the ECU thinking they need to replace the IAC after getting surging idles.

@@dw4940 No, it’s an aftermarket part in all likelihood made in China. The OEM part from The dealer is going to cost you the big dollars..... As I said, paid 1/4 the price and never had another IAC problem again!
Make it simple. once you see the temp "F" light (Green) on meter panel which mean the machine is at warm-up and the RPM seems relatively high. after 10-30 sec the idle gradually down to its 800~1000 RPM which is normal and your ICV working fine.

jamesiffer then plug those two black connectors from under your dash together and count the number of times your check engine light flashes! That’s what I do on my OBD1 Subaru, it’s like Morse Code. Look it up online, there’s a chance your car does it

That IACV is $260 at the auto parts store. A few years I bought one on Amazon for about $69. Recently I bought one on ebay for about $15. It works tho it lasted about a year nevertheless. If the chinese can produce one for so cheap you get the idea how much profit these other manufacturers are doing. Total ripoff.

No, the EGR is for emissions control, allowing some of the emissions to be reused, iirc.

Does the engine revolution speed remains relatively higher than normal (in warm up condition) when the idle valve is not working correctly?

Sell it now well actually the check engine light does not always let you know. When my IAC went out I did not know what was going on. No code nothing.
