Hello I’m making a 3 ft five but my foam boards are not big enough to fit it, so I glue them together or do I need to do a smaller one?
Hi! The 32x40 boards should be big enough for a 3ft 5, if your boards are smaller it is ok to glue them together so the template fits.
So the pieces you’re bending to make the edges are also foam board? How thick is it?
Hi! Yes it’s all 3/16 of an inch foam boards from Hobby Lobby.
Apart from board what other paper or material can one use
I wondering how many balloons can I buy and the sizes ??? Is my first time was overwhelming the sizes 😂 I trying to do the 6” so the foam I paste too or they sell big ones ??

Hi! Watch the end of this video how I created the base. That’s how I make the base for all my mosaics to stand up. Hope that helps

@@Loverlee I am making that 3 1/2 ' roller skate for Saturday. When can I fill it up with the balloons. I know when balloons are small they deflate
faster. They are getting it Saturday morning and party Saturday afternoon. I'm nervous about it. Lol

Where did you buy the paper?
Would gorilla glue or adhesive tape work? I'm having a hard time getting the hot glue to stay.
Never used any of those. Idk why the hot glue isn’t staying, you should hold it down until it’s dry enough

I only reverse on curves to hide the scored lines

Hi! I print them on regulars copy and print papers and tape them together like a puzzle. Lol I have a video on my channel to show you how to do that.

I use 32x40 hobby Lobby foam boards for 3 feet mosaics. Not 20x30

How long does it take to make the foamcore frame?
Terri Weston 3ft takes about 2 hours and the 5ft takes about 3 hours

Nicole Brown hi! I’ve been making mosaics for a while now so I make them very easily and quickly. I would recommend that you make them in advance. When I first started it took me almost all day to make them.

What do you mean clear paper? I print on regular computer sheets

You have to break the seams that you cut first then start bending it in the opposite direction. Don’t be scared that it might break just do it😄

What do you use for Weights?
Toni Brinson hi! You can use anything over 20lbs. Bricks, dumbbells, sand bags, anything heavy
If you place your #5 temple to the top and left of the foam board, you’ll save yourself from making those two cuts.
You still need weights in order for it not to blow over tho
