Today, I bought a green Emory parka. I love the plethora of pockets. This is my second Canada Goose coat.
Hows it holding up ?
Is the hood on the emory as pronounced as the tunnel hoods of the Chateau/Langford? I know you said it's a "tunnel" hood but you seemed hesitant and it also looks like it's not quite the same. I think the Carson has the same tunnel hood as the Langford though

But I want jacket which has greater protection against cold. Which jacket between Langford and Emory has better winter protection in your opinion? Hoping my Langford can manage Toronto winter conditions.

Robby what do you think about the shoulders? CG went diagonal on the stitch with this one, I have seen a few complaints about cold shoulders on this coat due to a lack of down in this area. Wondering what you think about that? Not sure why CG would do this on the shoulder.

Small for Emory. Maybe xs fusion fit for expedition but might still be too big

Just got one of these. Do you find that the length of these jackets when zipped up causes a bit of restriction in leg movement

F. Rob this is a longer jacket if you don’t like it to long stick with the whyndham it does a good job I personally like the whyndham it’s light comfortable then the Emory

I don’t have any good professional suggestions. I don’t recommend this but some people have used a sharpie. Could try contacting Canada goose and see what they suggest

I’m 6feet 143lbs 34inch chest (slim build). Which is better XS or S? Any big differences? I've tried small, and everything seems good but arm girth. It's really thick and puffy while the length is good.

Robby's Reviews it seemed to me that the Emory was such a pain when sitting down cause it’s so slim and tight. I’m an athletic build so maybe that affects it but I had to always either move my zipper up or pull the jacket up

I own the Langford Emory Carson and Wyndham. For the cold 🥶 days Langford and Emory does a really good job. While the Carson and Wyndham are a nice coat to go out and stay inside there light weight and comfortable to wear. Doesn’t really do a good job on the cold days.

Trapping a coyote for a simple winter jacket?? I honestly thought it was synthetic fur like on my current parka that works great without the pain and misery. And honesty ALL of these CG jackets are really unflattering for a fashion item. If you want a functional winter gear get a Patagonia or North Face. There is ZERO reason why a functional winter jacket is marked up so absurdly.
