How was it?
@@SouloDoloMusic it was crazy delicious. Full of flavor. Also, recently my mom has been undergoing chemo treatment and goat is listed as a more nutrient rich meat than chicken and beef. She has me making in it all the time to aid in treatment since she has to have high protein foods.
@@orochikaiba Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely tempted to try this now!
Also, that's very nice of you. I wish your mom a full and speedy recovery!
Greetings @ Chris,Happy Holidays to you and your Family.

I hear you about the pressure cooker, man. “Stop being lazy” Love it. Going to try this recipe this weekend. Thanks for the video sir.
OMG thank you soooo much !!! I’ve had goat stew before and it is such a warm comforting dish, extremely delicious 🤤🤤🤤. It never crossed my mind to do it myself but now I will ! Subscribed, shared, liked and following ✊🏾.
Never try it but i will do that stew goat some day it's looks very delicious 😋😋👍
it IS.. do give it a try
I ❤️ Stew goat. Make it more than curry. Great recipe!
thanks - real nice yea
@@caribbeanpot definitely
Using the pressure cooker is not being lazy. It's being time efficient. Once it's finished in the pressure cooker, pour the liquid in a pot and let it cook down into a thick gravy to one's own liking so the flavor is not lost.
Yum ❤
Hey Chris, I always curry goat but I will try it stew. Thanks
This recipie came out delicious. I added turmeric to mine though since i turmeric all my meats. Besides that, I followed your recipie and it came out lip smacking delish. I'm about to make this again. Irie breatheren.! Much love from and thanx from the Cubano en NYC.
Mouthwatering as always
thx kindly
Low and slow will always guarantee fall off the bone goodness. Chris thanks for bringing up the need to remove more of the fat. We’ve all got to do better about how we eat. Blessings to you brother. Great job!

@@caribbeanpot lol yes we did....you know we got it fresh here in the Caribbean 🙂
Oh now I know to put olive oil instead of vinegar to my seasoning. I always learn from you Chris. Keep vibesing it up!! 🍲
that olive oil is a game changer oui
@@caribbeanpot Trying it for sure next time.
I now realize is new thing I watching lol ohhhhhhh Chris meh bredrin
Brand New oui
Dang!
Chris...what are the ingredients of your Caribbean seasoning?
What kind of pot your using ?
Love your receipes, everything tastes so good. Just a small sugestion, please use a wooden spoon so you dont scrape at the enamel
Mama yo!!PELT WAY DAH PRESSURE COOKER😂😂😂😂i am dead i cant with u boi!!!
What he said “”Stop the Pressure Cooker” 🤣🤣
no lies - flavor don't live there
I hate that everyone is using a pressure cooker with stew recipes, I don't want to fill my kitchen with machines and gadgets I don't even use,I want it more simple.
Love your cooking and methods, I’ve been cooking Trinidadian and Jamaican for past 35 years and learned a few tricks along the way from my husband and his family. I’m Eastern European and grew up using pressure cooker and the reason is, it locks the flavour in. I’ve been using the One Pot for last 10 years and I have time when I need to cook cause I have to eat. I can cook certain dishes on my stove in good pots and some in machines like one pot that is useful to some and not so much to others. I know what I need to make my cooking simplified and time faster like prepping food so that’s why I use the mandolins for slicing, food processor for certain chopping and on. My Grandma used to wash clothes on a board and boil her clothes today we have washers just as useful machines to simplify our lives and as well as the people who are with arthritis or cannot chop as they used to or stand for long. My late Mom was one of them and had to resort to Pressure cookers, choppers etc. Enjoying your cooking techniques! You’re very talented! 👏🏼🙏
I think the electric pepper grinder was pretty cool
My goat is currently simmering! Followed the recipe to a T! Fingers crossed!
i actually miss your longer videos lol
Can I use almond milk
That is some ultimate meat there. 10/10
thx kindly
Cant wait to make this Chris! Please tell me, what is the best cut of goat to buy for this recipe?
yes, that magic man,but can that be done in a slow cooker please?
Where do you source your Carribean mild peppers from? I live in Toronto so could probably go to the same place.
He mentioned on another post that he couldn't find them so he grows his own
@@xstargyalx Dang.
Thanks.
For how long needs to be cooked? How many minutes?
Very nice and I love goat meat and this look so yummy! Can please provide all ingredients you have inside the glass jaws? (2:45) Blessed up.
search Caribbean green seasoning on my website or here on my channel
First time I ever made curry goat was with your recipe "The Ultimate Curry Goat Recipe". It really is and I still make it the same exact way for my Jamaican Husband! His sister always says she makes the best curry goat. But he says she is wrong. That mine is the best, so PROPS for that, haha! We all love it, and its one of our special occasion dishes! My daughter always wants it for her birthday meal now!
I also make your green seasoning. I keep some fresh in the fridge, and make extra and keep it in the freezer in portions for recipes like this and I use it when making curry shrimp or chicken as well. We love it. I also have your original cookbook! Is the new book any different? Have a wonderful holiday! Thanks Chris!
Gonna have to give this one a try too now! Guess I gotta make that pepper sauce too, since I have a nice amount of peppers left from my garden.
When u are cleaning your Goat meat, what do u use in it so the freshness will cut?
Hey brother. Where in the tdot do you source your pimentos?
I grew my own - can't find them anywhere these days
@@caribbeanpot I can never find them either.
I love that your recipes simplify the process but retain the flavour! Keep vibezing it up Uncle Chris and be as lazy as you want hahaha its your kitchen now😂😂😂😂😂
Much luv for the kind support
Can you mix beef to stretch the dish for a lot of children
Do you use a food processor, blender?? LOL good video Chris
is true though
What cut of the goat is that, I'm gonna do it with deer. Keep up the great videos, love watching.
He mentioned on another post that he didn't remember which type of cut it was. But said for goat that any cut should work.
@@xstargyalx Thank you, I'm gonna give it a whirl with deer.
Please if you do update on how it went. I have deer meat as well (unsure of the cut) but would be glad to try
@@xstargyalx Will do for sure
Dat stew goat gooood to di bone!
facts
What is the sauce you put in right before the Worcestershire?
Angostura Bitters
I'm sold on goat meat for decades and don't need convincing
How much for just the goat?
Putting salt it last takes longer for it to penetrate the food to release its flavour. That what i saw when i was on youtube.
Can you make any kind curry in a instapot?
I'm sure you can, but it won't have as much flavor as low and slow the traditional way
@@caribbeanpot awesome thanks... love your channel!!
What cut of goat do you use please?
I don't recall what it was labeled as to be honest - any cut will work
Thanks dear
I did it with pork.
Hi Chris could show and tell how to clean the goat meat 🍖..
Great recipe. But mine turned out a little bitter and I didn't let the brownsugar get black. I put the goat in when the brown sugar was frothy.
You should use wooden spoon for the pot so that it won't scratch each other and potentially leak some chemicals
Goats can mow lawns. They feed themselves They produce milk they taste awesome and some of them even make surgical grade spider silk. Is there anything they can't do?
Do they sell goat in UK butchers?
Yes they do, I’m in south London and have no problem finding goat meat in butchers locally
@@andreamanning1257 thanks 🙏🏽 I’m in nw London will check with my local :)
About baki
mmmm yes papi that deliciousness gonna go down good, ooooweee! waguan goat stew
Where did this stew goat recipe come from. It is not from Trinidad for sure
I know about too late...but what if u put the goat in too early? Does it ruin the meal?
Do a burger one of these days nah!
goat burger?
@@caribbeanpot Nah bro. I mean a real island burger, with pine. Hard to come across these days.
I for one wouldn't mind watching a full hour video of the exact same recipe
U just took off the oil and add it back with coconut milk
