My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first CZcams channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!0

Yes, Paete is well known for their carvings! My family along with family friends and neighbors had our Church’s Saints and other Catholic images such as the Risen Christ, Virgin Mary had them carved in Paete!
So cool that there are communities in the Philippine's where artists can thrive.
Those were some interesting wood carvings. We once had one of those wooden eagle carvings, but we had to discard it because it broke when it hit the ground a little too hard since it was stored on top of a tall cabinet. My late grandmother also had a pair of large wooden deer wood carvings that were big enough for a child to sit on, which my cousins and I once did when we were kids and we pretended to be riding the wooden deer to battle haha. Good times, good times. Looking forward to the next vlog to see how the mabubay squad house looks like now.

I LOVED today's vlog!! That place looks super cool! I have a feeling I could spend hours (and a lot of dollars) there. I love wood art like this. I found one artist here in the US that does similar, he's in the tiniest town in Nevada, and I have a lot of his pieces (he does Disney characters, LOL, of course, I have a bunch of his stuff).
Holy Cow! "Several" nine-foot pieces!?!? That's a serious investment. I can imagine it'll be stunning, I can't wait to see that, I'm super excited!
Britney is so cute, she wanted some of your lunch. Big fish like Marlin, Tuna, Walleye, and several others are not good for dogs to eat. The Mercury content is way too high in these proteins. Salmon is totally OK though, it's even recommended. Just not the big fish.
Britney seems so smart, I think she'll get the hang of using the puppy pad. Ya'll are doing it 100% right. She's a very lucky girl.
I gotta say, it's so awesome to get to spend time with ya'll like this. I'm excited about the next vlog, can't wait to see the progress on the home. Ya'll stay safe and I'll see 'ya next time.
