Imo last great OG protagonist mech and it went down from here on, however they should’ve gave us upgrade sooner than chapter 48. Only have 3 stages to used them
@@TheHardcoreGamer1 you say that but well consider their histories the guy is a veteran pilot so he'd have the experience needed for the Granvang's very odd up close attack style while the Vangnex is a much more straightforward machine and while it has a bits attack nine is also in there to manage them.
@@michaell8000 indeed, soji prefer granvang because dont need speed when he have the experience and chitose fits with the vangnex for the multiple weapons and speed what really help a novice as her
@@michaell8000 actually it's there histories that makes the vangnex fit the guy. Being his exp with things like the cosmo falcon. thus a high speed machine like vangnex fits him. That right up his ally. And being the girl is a newbie gave her have suit that tanky and powerful enough were she can plow thru enemies.
granvang because his beastly power, vangnex its cool and all but i prefer power as super robot wars teach me "if you keep attacking eventually you gonna hit the enemy"
Also it gets melee attacks while VangNex feels if you were up against a melee unit with speed as fast as the VangNex you were mincemeat because you have no melee weapons

According with super robot wars T dlc the canon robots for each character are: For Soji the vangnex and for Chitose the granvang

Vangnex and The guy was a pretty good combination on my first playthrough. I'm 2nd playthrough using Granvang instead with the girl pilot.
Granvang really fits the female character while Vangnex fits the guy.

I'm more to melee type rather than shooting type
