Translation notes:
0. This song is about a young prostitute who wants to stay together with a regular customer of hers. I can't shake off the feeling that this song revolves around the phrase 嫌よ嫌よは好きのうち, which means "No often means yes." The phrase is read as "iya yo iya yo wa suki no uchi", and this song's title is read as "iya iya yo".
1. This phrase doesn't mean anything. In a song called DESIRE by 中森明菜, this phrase is used to cheer her on (I think?). So I translated it as "Keep pushing!" Example: • 中森明菜 DESIRE at 26 seconds.
2. Pianissimo in music means to play something very softly. I went with the meaning rather than a literal translation. Also, please note how well punctuated this song is, and notice how there's no comma at the end of this line. Therefore, in my opinion, this line is meant to be read together with the next line, which is how I translated it.
3. In my opinion, there's a progress here, this refers to all the different stages of a baby and how you can get rid of it. a) Sperm that never reached egg cells, b) miscarried, this refers to 水子 and "Burial of the sea" c) and the ones which were born but got abandoned.
4. Literally "God that appears from papers and balls." I think the papers and balls refers to paper money and coins.
5. The last word is an immature way to write ご相伴. The whole phrase is ご相伴に預かる, which is a humble and thankful phrase to ask to accompany someone, or go with someone and receive some hospitality, etc.
6. In Uminaoshi, 否認の失敗 appears multiple times, it is read as "hinin no shippai", meaning "failure of denial". I'd say the hidden meaning is 避妊の失敗, it is read the same way, but it means "failure of birth control", which I think aligns better with the song's message. With this same logic, when I only listen to this line in the song, it sounds like その行動、頂戴際だよ, meaning "It's high time you granted me that action.", which ties back to my point #0. With that interpretation, the whole last part could be read as "Please, I beg you, leave me - this poor victim - behind. Look, I love it when you leave me alone. It's high time you granted me that action." Something to think about. I admit that 際 being read as "zai" is a stretch, it's only read as zai in 分際. So it exists, but it's a stretch. Besides, MARETU has made up his own words and readings before.

(This is all lighthearted btw, its just a trend i notice with maretu songs that alot of people jump to either its about a mentally ill person or cannibalism. And not to say maretu dosent write about things just that I feel like alot of people assume those are the onlu things written about cause he writes "dark music". This is my observations and i dont think its bad, just a lil funny lol)
I pretty sure most of the song is about an abused pregnant woman getting 🍇by some dude. (Cannibalism only appear in Binomi or at least that what i think)
Still most of their theories are only connecting with Suji, Koukatsu, Scumize)
Well, I'm not a mental health expert, but I agree. Putting Binomi aside, I don't think that the main character in this song, Dance of Life, Angel 92 have any mental illnesses. It's just about messed up situations.
In Sakura's translation, I saw some people saying this song's character has BPD, but I wouldn't classify it as that. Isn't BPD about mood swings that last for weeks with no explanation? In my opinion, the mood swings here are sudden and reasonable. It just shows how young and naive she is. Like they're in a fight, and then "We'll be together forever!?" makes everything okay and so they'll have dinner like nothing happened.

bipolar disorder is a mental disorder in which a person experiences mania and depression while borderline is a personality disorder .
googling each, bipolar disorder’s symptoms contain going from extremely low lows like depression and extremely high highs, mania . ( mania = excitement, increased energy, impulse decisions, and agitation ) . borderline can include both narcissistic tendencies and feeling worthless, abandoned, being emotionally unstable and struggling to keep up social relationships . ( ex - if i’m not mistaken, some people w borderline develop very unhealthy attachments to people which can possibly make them want to basically spend every second they breathe with this person, making it harder for their ‘favorite person’ to be able to spend time with others and do things they need to do without this person attempting to stop them/stay around them . )
so i just wanted to say i think theyre talking more about borderline, but thats just my two cents !!

Thank you!! Yeah, the whole song has such a vibe. There are lines which are still ambiguous to me. I initially wanted to translate 「誰か私を拾って行って」as "someone pick me up and come (in me)" but I tried to be more neutral this time.

I try my best in diving deep and decoding what's going on in a MARETU song.
With my previous MARETU translations, I tried to upload them on the same day the song came out. This made me include mistakes, and I have regrets that I wish I had worded a few lines differently. Here's my analysis on the song (probably innacurate but still):
I feel like this song is talking about a person that is in an abusive relationship (mainly SA), but they've developed a fear of being alone and kind of trauma bonded with the person, and now they're stuck in a dillema of both hating them about what they do ("You have to take responsibility properly!" "Boldly running away? Here we go again.." "You're well aware, aren't you? About all the things that you 1.Did to me 2.Made me do 3.and were about to make me do" ect.) And not wanting them to leave (developing an attachment) ("And yet i always long for you at all times" "Well then, for today's dinner, I'd be happy to join with you"). I also feel like due to the abuser having a unpredictable/cold? mood ("Or are you in your usual mood again?") The person tries to kind of assure that they stay/ get back in their "better" mood by making them feel bad about what they're doing and showing them that they're hurt by their actions ("That behaviour is a mortal sin" "Look, i hate it when you leave me alone" "God! Save us wretched mortals!" "I beg you." ect.). Basically, the song is about a person that's being SA but they stay because they're used to the abuse and are scared about leaving due to the loneliness and uncertainty it brings. I also think it may be due to them thinking they "don't deserve any better" due to the way they've been treated until now.

It can be. The Japanese word for trash can is ゴミ箱、ゴミ means trash, and 箱 means box, chest, crate. You could read it literally, that "or abandoned in that trash box over there." It is a potential reference!
I mean I interpreted the chinese translation a little bit, and I think the story is something like a 神待ち少女 (underaged girls leaving their family to be homeless and getting taken care of by grown men in exchange for becoming a s** s****, it's a phenomenon in Japan) finding a man to take her home and offered smex, which leads to the "scraping onto tissue paper" and "abandoned in trash bin". I think that just refers to sperm. Then she gets abandoned mercilessly without anywhere to go, because a lot of 神待ち少女 are asked to delete their online presence and get rid of all their connections.

If you consider the trash bin to be the coin locker, then yes, it can be a reference. I wasn't able to make sense of it, but it's weird how that line emphasises that "in, in that trash bin over there", the "in" appears twice. Perhaps solving that will be the link to Coin Locker Baby.

Of course, questioning a translation is always welcome. Literally, the lyrics says "Babies are inside paper, in water, and inside that trash bin, inside". There are several things I've been taught through collaborating with producers:
1. with ambiguous lyrics, I try to translate not only what's written but also what's unwritten. Think of this as 「明日、映画を見に行きませんか。」「明日はちょっと・・・」Would you translate this as "Tomorrow is kinda..." or "Tomorrow isn't good for me." ? Probably the latter one, right? Even though the "not good" isn't explicitly stated.
2. Sometimes, only keywords or word fragments are written. You - as the reader - have to fill those gaps in or notice that the words refer to a phrase. 「御伽の杓子 予後に絶えた」Can you guess which phrase the 「御伽の杓子」stands for? 「悔いる前に杭を打って」or here the 「杭を打って」? Or 「繋いだ魔法みたいな途方もないチェインを綻ばないようにずっと結んでいて」what does the ずっと mean here?
Similarly, here, that particular line was really suspicious for me. How can babies be in paper? Well, that's probably sperm. About the "trash bin", I think that's a reference to Coin Locker Baby. After making some research, I discovered that 水子 means miscarriage. Historically, the remains of stillborn babies were disposed in the sea, that is why it became the word 水子. So we now have a complete spectrum of getting rid of babies: throwing them out as sperms, miscarriage, and abandoning them after birth. This spectrum felt too intentional than just having sperm everywhere.
And then we can ask more questions: why is there sperm in the paper? The main character is clearly a hostess. I guess cleaning, paper towels are an answer. Is that realistic though? Knowing MARETU, I'm not afraid to go dark either.

When reading through the translation it somehow reminded me of 2 things
1. In my country there is a movie about a mentally ill mother that dies in the end of movie by wearing a butterfly costume and going to her childhood and flying off of a roof its called "My secret" if you translate it iys very sad, the kovie likes shows how she and others around her are struggling but in the end there is nothing that they can do to cure her
And some of people who are married to me mentally ill people tend to manipulate them for their own good to make sure they never leave
2. Some people who is like plays with people being friends with benefits or just being temporary the start says something about laying on the floor again this song subjects of sexual manners and laying down on the floor meaning after sex the first sentence is keep pushing meaning eighter 2 things keep pushing forward in life or keep pushing the d and continues forward and being picked up and specifically saying "someone to take me away" "lets have fun shall we?"
