0:58 - The, _"That's a lot of fish!"_ clip has evolved yet again! And you evolve the original one even more at 9:36. Gods, I cannot overstate how much I love your edits.
S1lm4r1l - Yup! It was that clip from Kung-Pow in the first episode of his previous run on *They are Billions* (like it was throughout his Cities Skylines series). Then he changed it up by using a clip from the 1998 Godzilla film in one of the later episodes, and now it's a totally new clip. _This has been a brief history on the recent evolution of Angory humour._
That's a brilliant title. It would be an honour to have you do the forward. I'll ensure that we have a copy stored in the Library of Babel. _(Check the comments in Tom's final _*_Sylvio 2_*_ video for that odd reference)_
Not sure you need more advice but here I go: 1. City planning is important, you want to make the best of the Bank and Market ranges, so plan acordingly 2. Snipers are really strong, a ball of 18 snipers can pretty much clear the entire map for you. 3. Expansion is the name of the game, it is almost never profitable to make any advanced buildings. just build more of the standard buildings as you expand your colony to span the entire map. 4. You should never stop growing. Standard goals I make for myself are 200 colonists at day 10, 400 at day 20 and from there its pretty much a Exponential growth (last mayor around day 40, and 2500 to 3000 colonists when the final wave happens) 5. Get your first soldier to vetran asap (you need to kill 100 zombies) on the first 3 maps this is really strong because a soldier can easily clear the zombies up to executives if he doesnt get overwhelmed (he can outrun everything except for harpies so that shouldnt be a problem) Hope that was usefull The game is a LOT of fun but you have to stay ahead of the curve to have a shot at the final wave. Good Luck Tom!
Hey Tom pro tip, *Fishing and hunting huts are more efficient than farms.* Farms take up tons of space and cost 20 gold to maintain but huts cost 2 gold and take up one tile. 4 huts on average can make the same amount of food as a good farm and that would only cost a total of 8 gold maintenance! Space and gold are king in this game so make as many huts as you can before resorting to farms!
He has improved some but he still doesn't leave himself any room for defenses. He puts down walls and gates in tiny choke points in awkward positions that leave little room for error when he inevitably has to retreat.
PROTIP: if the zombos make it through your walls and into your residental section, demolish your houses so they don't make more zombies. That way they are less likely to overpower your defenses.
Are you implying that 20 million is a large number of guardsmen? While there is no official number it's possibly trillions, given that hive worlds might easily tithe 100 million at a time.
i like to think that toms' face isn't sliding across the screen, but he's stepping in front of me and shaking his head, "no" glad you're back doing more of this
Try to keep rangers in groups of 4. They kill zombies in a single volley. Great for both defending and clearing out space early on, and they don't draw too much attention. Any more or any less is bad and a complete waste. Also, although this may come a bit too late as I assume you've prerecorded the next few episodes, you should place a warehouse in the grassy bit to the west near the three sawmills and the farms. It'll be a biiig boost to production and food (yes, the warehouse gives a production bonus to food surprisingly, it's the only "static resource" affected though, power doesn't get buffed).
Tom its not only the guns that are too loud, building too close to zombies creates aggro and zombies hitting walls attracts even more. Residential buildings breaking creates the most aggro tho
Pro tip: Have your rangers (probably not your soldier) start immediately clearing the zombies out, not just to make the area safer but also to train your units to veteran.
You should have done 2x2 tent zones isntead of just lining all up, you can have more spaces for the troops to pass and ways of placing the bank and the market near them for more gold and less food shortage.
2x2 is AWFUL. It's super wasteful of space. Long 8x2 rows are much better, you just need to build them so they're all in range of the bank. The market is secondary, in most games there's no food shortage past day 40 due to the generally plentiful enough fields and the Advanced Farms.
You may want to get a soldier center at the beginning. Towers cost a lot of upkeep. And if you build soldiers one at a time it doesn't tie up as many resources.
bit of a misplay with the soldier's center at 13:52 IMO. You're probably gonna end up needing to (either (A) move the wall out a few squares to make room for baliistas, or (B) relocate the soldier's center - again for ballistas. then again, maybe there's a better choke point there just out of sight...
Techanythings mean your getting the tech for the "anything" from that mayor, it's a little confusing because it's still beta and the tooltip hasn't been clarified.
"There is no way we can lose" First episode the zombies almost breakthrough his defenses.
And it wasn't even the first big mobattack. He realized way too late that his soldier pulled aggro. :D
Now we must say 10 "thank you papa Angor's" for this precious gift.
Papangor.
Pangor.

Wasn't it "that's a lot of nuts!" originally?

"The humour of being Angory." I'll write the foreword when you publish the biography.

well this is the saddest comment section ever

Tom has improved quite considerably since his last game. Hopefully this is a good enough start for Tom to potentially have chance at the last wave!
Lets be real, he's not going to make it
He has improved some but he still doesn't leave himself any room for defenses. He puts down walls and gates in tiny choke points in awkward positions that leave little room for error when he inevitably has to retreat.
PROTIP: if the zombos make it through your walls and into your residental section, demolish your houses so they don't make more zombies. That way they are less likely to overpower your defenses.
If the zombies are close enough to the buildings, you can't delete the houses anymore. I tried to in my game last night.
"There's no way we can lose" *Flashforward ten episodes when they break his walls and get in his base*
I think you mean ten minutes.
Try to get a bunch of Soldiers for every Space Marine chapter.
Get 20,000,000 Soldiers for every Imperial Guardsman with a bayonet
Are you implying that 20 million is a large number of guardsmen? While there is no official number it's possibly trillions, given that hive worlds might easily tithe 100 million at a time.
I think I'd be more excited to watch this game if Sips hadn't streamed a lifetime worth of it the past week. The man's an addict.
it on yogs live yet?
it's coming on his Sips live channel I think.
It's being uploaded on Sips' live channel, yeah. I think you can find a few days worth of streams there already.
i like to think that toms' face isn't sliding across the screen, but he's stepping in front of me and shaking his head, "no"

Feel like there's a doom town near him again
THAT'S A LOT OF NUTS!
I knew you were my favorite for a reason Tom.
Guns are loud Tom!
Pro tip: Have your rangers (probably not your soldier) start immediately clearing the zombies out, not just to make the area safer but also to train your units to veteran.
That's the best transition I've ever seen! 8:13
My shortest play through was 7 days. There was a small hole which I didn't know wasn't covered and afterwards the colony turned into a Zombie Buffet
So it would seem Tom missed all the comments telling him not to use soldiers as they attract more zombies.
xD
Ledrang remember the murder brigade. They shall rise again.
And die in a very similar fashion.
Yes but you're not supposed to use it to guard a point as they make noise which attracts zombies, which is what Tom did.
The Kung Pow! Refs are friggin gold XD.
"I haven't played this game much since the last time I've played it." -Tom, 2018

Yay, I was hoping you would play another, I love this game :D
THANK YOU FOR PLAYING MORE OF THIS!
You may want to get a soldier center at the beginning. Towers cost a lot of upkeep. And if you build soldiers one at a time it doesn't tie up as many resources.

Best transition ever lol
0:34 'There's no way we can lose' - I'm sure you'll find a way
Aah glad that you dind't wait to long, to try this again Tom!
That transition was hot

Techanythings mean your getting the tech for the "anything" from that mayor, it's a little confusing because it's still beta and the tooltip hasn't been clarified.
