Thank you.. I've been waiting a long time for a map plugin for davinci resolve and finally it's here now. please add more for the province of each country and hopefully this plugin will continue to be updated so that it is as complete as the geolayers after effect.
It would be really good if there is an option to change the map projection as this (Mercator) is problematic. But I understand that would mean a lot more work for each of the countries, regions and so on...
Brilliant! Pity there aren’t maps for more countries (I often work with European historical themes, so I miss European countries’ maps in particular). I’ll buy it anyway, I trust you’ll soon have an update for us ;-)
You can still zoom in the world map and control each country individually in Europe. Please reach out via email at jeremy@videoeditorstudio.com if you have something more specific in mind and i'll see what I can do!

It's amazing. Is it possible to use the flag of a contry or an image as a background for each country? I'm not talking about the main background. For example, let's say I use the same background as you used, (grid green), but can I have the US flag, or any image inside the US map instead of the yellow colour you have used in this case? If so, what image formats does it support? Thanks
It is not possible directly in the inspector as of right now, we'll see if we could potentially add it in a future update. But it's possible in Fusion without much work, reach out via email and I'll show you how to do it. Have a nice day!
do you reckon the plugin will ever become as great as geolayers? because if there was anything even remotely close to geolayers in resolve, I would easily pay over $500 for it. I'm sure every other resolve animator who uses maps would be more than happy to pay that amount as well.

Is it possible to only obtain the outline of a country in your Maps package by changing some of the parameters (and without having to go to Fusion)?

As of right now we don't have the skillset and database to do something like that. But hopefully over time we will improve!
